“The store has a nice vibe and good selection. They can do custom orders. Good boot fitters - my last pair had a hot spot that they drilled out - perfection. I especially enjoy the vintage gear and photos decorating the walls. I used some of that stuff back in the day! Like leather lace-up boots and cable bindings.”

But I want to say that, for all the expensive orders Richards must get, I was so appreciative and touched by the attention to detail and customer service I received. Specifically, they gift wrapped the order beautifully, included a congratulatory gift tag note, and sent a hand written note from the person who put the order together. Above and beyond. Would 100% recommend this store.”

“It was such a great and easy non pressure experience . We enjoyed looking and chatting with Ron who couldn’t have been nicer. My daughter and I went to “ Him”” as the cute gals at Her where we had a blast and felt right at home with Daniella and Penny. Said go to the men’s store ! Daniella and Penny Not pushy and so nice, really worked with us to find pieces that we wanted but couldn’t find in the size we needed.. We love this women’s store and their products! First time in….But the service was the best ,we felt like we were shopping with good friends and it wasn’t because we were shopping and spending money. It was genuine .!Thank you both for all your help :) Sally ( CharlestonSC, and Kenan.( a neighboring town).See you soon! The only thing I wish is that if you purchase an item at either store and have to return that you could get a store credit but use it at either store .In Charleston we have a ladies boutique and down a few stores a Home store and gifts and if you return at either the credit and be used at either store which really makes sense . I mean why wouldn’t you , owned by same people!! Go shop at these stores , really cool pieces!”

and Mario kept them secure and was waiting for me upon my arrival back into the store.
While I was trying to manage the self check out I realized one of my items didn’t have a bar code ticket.

“I can't recommend Threads and Treads enough. I started running again in my late 30s and had tried ordering shoes online. After a few fails, I went in person and the staff were so helpful. They looked at my feet and the arches, the width, my stance, how I walk... and helped direct me to a shoe that would support all these areas. Highly recommend supporting this business so we can keep stores alive that really provide expertise and guidance we will never get through big box stores. One note: keep the box! you can't return unless you have the box :)”
