“I started going out of my way to Housing Works and at first felt a little odd about it because they take everyone.Employees of Housing Works are professionals and friendly right down to reception. I have had to walk in with little emergencies that weren’t bad enough for the hospital, but definitely needed immediate attention. They have always done their level best to take me and take care of my issue.I have always gotten the utmost professional attention from every Medical Doctor, Nurse Practitioner, and Psychiatric Doctor or Practitioner that works at Cylar House. Housing Works was formed by Keith Cylar with a mission to kindly handle the medical needs of many in New York during the AIDS crisis. But it has evolved into a place that makes me thrive, even though I do not have HIV.I have never received better medical attention by any medical practice anywhere in my life, and I’ve lived all over the States. No one can believe my true age and that’s due in large part to thriving under Housing Works affordable care.”

“I had emergency on the Fourth of July and I went to this facility. When you first walk in the place is nice and clean. The lady at the desk was very friendly. She asked if it was OK that we sit in our car because of the Covid restrictions. I told her sure no problem. I had to go back in to ask her a question, and she told me that they were ready for me. She also offered me something to drink. I guess by to look at my eyes she could tell that I was a bit flustered and was not feeling well at all. She came back with a bottle of water and a can of Ginger ale and a cup. I was very grateful and thankful. She made me feel quite at home. And very welcome. I will recommend this place to anyone and everyone. They very clean and very friendly. And I will be coming back again. Thank you again for your hospitality.”

Her office is small but she got the job done! She did charge for the visit but it can be submitted through insurance. She was very friendly, polite, informative, and made us feel very comfortable.”

“Dr Escobar became my primary Dr when I moved to Sunnyside from Europe a few years ago. Conveniently I moved to Astoria not long before he moved his practice there. He continues to be my provider even though I live away from the city now.Be prepared if you have an appointment that you may be delayed. You have to be patient as he will give all necessary time to each and every person he sees. Your appointment may be delayed but you will get exactly the same care and time and this is the payoff.Both him and his wife Raquel provide the best level of healthcare I have ever seen for a Doctor's surgery. It is a rare and wonderful thing they do and should be a model for all doctor's everywhere.”
