“With limited stores in the town of Avon, the dollar General is a one stop shop fo so many things. Some groceries essentials( milk, bread and eggs) cleaning supplies and so many other random items at a great price. A few racks at an even higher discount 70% off, lots of near expired items or discontinued products. I found a few nice deals on snacks and other quick grab and go options. Lots of seasonal items near the entrance.”
“I love this place. Most excellent breakfast sandwiches fresh made, and snacks in a wide variety highlight this little country store's offerings. The MG Car Club of Western New York Centre holds our monthly cars and coffee here the last Sunday of the months during the driving season, and the food and coffee is always great.”

“This general store, souvenir shop, and little breakfast grill is a must stop when visiting the area. Their breakfast sandwiches are the best in the business. They are also really good at potatoes. Perfect stop for the morning after you're hung over from a great lake trip. The service is always friendly, and the chefs always do a great job. Ambience inside is very fun, with a lot of local flair. They also have some great clothing finds for reasonable prices.”
“I shop in this store frequently even though there is one closer. The employees are very nice and exceptional! Always very nice. From the manager up front -young girl short dark hair usually in a hoodie to everyone else. They are always helpful and they care about their customers. Sadly customers aren't always as respectful they really rummage the store and make things hard for them, all in all they still remain courteous and do their jobs. They are all VERY hard-working!!! In my opinion they all need a big bump in pay for all the running I watch them do. Corporate and district are free to reach out anytime to recognize these hard-working employees and validate my shopping visits. Thank You DG worker bees”

“Was out this way for one of my kids games. Needed to pick up some quick items and found this little store.
It was well stocked and clean but Barely anybody in there. Unfortunately I would never be able to shop there again with how high the prices are. I wish I could support local businesses but it is just unaffordable to do so. Prices for things were double that of WalMart with smaller sizes. Which probably explains why I was pretty much the only one in the store. $6 for a bag of shredded cheese that was a smaller size than one that cost $2.98 at walmart.
It is worth stopping in if you can afford to. Their produce was really nice and fresh as well and meat was definitely a better quality then that of a chain store.. Older lady at checkout was not so friendly though, lol.
Unfortunately, I highly doubt a normal family on a normal income would be able to grocery shop here on a regular basis. However, it doesn't look like these people have too many other options in this area, which is probably why they are still in business. There was nothing for miles when I did a Google search to find a grocery store aside from a dollar general.”
“Nice little convenience store - a bit pricey but much better than driving 15-20 minutes to a big-name store if you need to quickly grab something, especially with gas as expensive as it is. Speaking of gas, they have pumps (maybe 4? I can't remember) and gas is competitively priced. They have a good selection for such a small store and it's nice to support local business. They offer non-dairy alternatives, fresh fruit and veg, and have a deli counter.Good-sized parking lot and handicap accessible entrance.”
