“Friendly employees and very helpful if you don't know where something is and when they have an employee shortage,those who are in the store are more than helpful but bear with them because teenagers don't want to work because of the pay scale but they have plenty of adults who cares about people”

“The selection is usually pretty good. The Special buys are cool and the meat and poultry is usually decent. The produce isles are always hit or miss. Sometimes I've gone and seen rotten/moldy/slimy veggies and sometimes the produce is rotated and looks really nice.”

“Best store there is. Great quality at great prices. Their Amber Ale beer is amongst the best brewed. Bacon choices second to none. Uncured bacon at a reasonable cost. Eggs, cheese all of it great. Freshest vegetables as well as a remarkable variety. Good store”
“Nichols Supermarket feels like stepping into a grocery store from another era — in the best possible way. It’s the kind of place that makes you wonder if this is what grocery shopping felt like before everyone became allergic to eye contact and self-checkout machines.
The cashiers are ridiculously friendly. Not fake corporate “have a nice day” friendly either — genuinely helpful people who ask if you need anything and will still carry your groceries to your car like it’s 1972 and customer service actually existed.
Their bread selection is legendary, but you better get there early because the fresh stuff disappears fast for good reason. Easily some of the best bread around. The seafood and meat are always fresh too.
Nichols somehow manages to feel old school without feeling outdated, and I absolutely love it.”

The store was very very clean on my last visit. The produce department looked very fresh and great. We were very happy to pick up the meal deal with the chicken and all the fixings the other day... what a fantastic deal! Was also very pleased with a deal on keilbasa, and on frozen veggies! Can't forget the great deals on sodas”
“Good selection of brand names. For example, this store has the top two refrigerated kosher dill pickles as rated by the American Test Kitchen, Boar's Head and Claussens. Wegmans carries neither. The store also has a great bakery. The staff are helpful and friendly, making this a fun place to shop.”
