“This is the nicest Dollar Tree I have EVER been to. The aisles and shelves are organized, there isn’t clutter preventing you from browsing. The staff obviously care about the store and it shows. I live the same distance from pretty much all the Dollar Trees in Clifton Park but will go out of my way to make this my regular store.”
“So many deals--I found the same exact bottle of shampoo priced a full dollar less than another department store and less than online. Great savings, and an awesome selection of bird food for my feeders. The best!”
“I needed help with a couple of items I was purchasing at the Ocean State Job Lot in Ballston Spa and Jen, the ATL and Assistant Manager of the store was incredibly helpful. She stopped what she was doing to assist me and went above and beyond, although it looked like she had a heavy workload - what amazing customer service! She seems to truly care about customers and her professionalism, courtesy and kindness made my day!”
“Just like any other 5 below really. Not much is $5 or less anymore, but I think we all know this by now. My only complaint for this location is that the isles are very thin. It makes it near impossible to go through unless you're the only one in it. I'm sure that's something out of their control; probably corporate orders.”
“?Truly a neighborhood? Stable. Sains discount is one of the best store on van vranken hands down. You can get amazing food and all you day to day needs & products. ‼️ ?”
“Bring CASH. Local charity based thrift store that has a steady flow of donations. Upstairs is clothing, bedding, scarves, shoes. Downstairs has collectibles, children toys, books, stuffed animals, knick knacks, kitchenware, cooking and baking supplies, and DVD. Low prices on most items. I bout a muffin tin, a loaf pan and a Brownie 8x8 pan for a total of $5.”
“Store was very organized and Sara was a very nice manager! One of the best dollar generals I’ve been to and actually was a good experience thanks to the employees”
“They almost always have exactly what I’m looking for (and a million things I’m not but will buy anyways). Ofcourse there’s not the same selection as big box stores but you really can’t beat the convenience and the number of options they do have for their size. The newest employee (Blonde woman with long hair) is absolutely wonderful. It’s great to have a friendly face great you and wish ya well on your way out.”
“checking out at dollar tree i meet one of the most amazing people i have ever met, Neil. Neil is clearly very dedicated to working at dollar tree because he’s been there since 2012, the poor man is going through severe medical problems that could really affect him but is still clearly the life of the party despite that. i’ve heard from multiple people he’s the same jokester with everyone and they all love him. make Neil a manager!!”
“The Dollar tree on route 9 in Clifton Park it's an amazing Dollar tree. The staff was very helpful. The customers were very pleasant. Plenty of places to park outside and wheelchair accessible”
“The cashier was friendly and they seem to have a fairly large selection. A lot of name brands which didn't seem to be any cheaper than Target or Walmart. The off brand stuff must be where the savings is. Biggest complaint was that there is absolutely no service of any kind anywhere in the store. Dropped a call, failed texts, no internet on my phone.”
“I showed up right when they were about to close. Most places the staff is nasty when you show up like that. They were super friendly and helpful. I realize that my last minute arrival was not cool so I did not expect the friendly helpful attitudes I got from the people working at the time. The three people working here for the closing shift on 4/23/26 are the kind of people you want to make sure are happy working for you, because they deserve 5 stars and you dont want to lose them!”
“I'm not sure who the woman was but she ran one of my items out to me after I had forgotten it. SHE gave your store 5 stars... otherwise there'd be no review lol. Such a sweetheart through my entire transaction!”
“A tad crowded. Freight all over. I had to move a U-Boat out of the way as it was blocking the entire front opening of the aisle (FIRE HAZARD). Lousy cold non-soda selection.”
