3841 W Main Street Rd, BataviaI got a kitten from them last August and she is the sweetest thing ever. The adoption was smooth and I had no complaints. The foster was really nice and sent pictures of Ava Darling (used to be Larissa) every week since she had a hard time gaining weight to get spayed. I highly recommend this shelter.

Genesee County Animal Shelter
3841 W Main Street Rd, BataviaWe adopted a 2 y/o male cat in April 2024. He is a great kitty, but we had some challenges with our 8 month old female kitty adjusting to him. The team at the Animal Shelter were super helpful and supportive. They suggested I reach out to a cat bahavior specialist who provided us with strategies that really impacted how our cats interacted. Today the cats love eachother and are playing all the time. Thank you again.
