Both have been great to us and our fur babies, but we see Dr. Mark more often due to our Golden’s age and I can not say enough good things about him. I always trust what he recommends and I know he is always looking out for the best interest of our girl.He even performed the amputation of our Golden’s dew claw a year ago and that process was so smooth because of him. The whole staff is so nice and I truly wouldn’t want to be seen anywhere else. They are great!

She is a world class trainer and handler, and those two qualities don’t always go together. So often, great handlers can’t teach really well. She is an exceptional teacher, and really understands each team’s needs, and tailors to them. Many “ah ha” moments that I’ve carried with me. I can’t wait to take more seminars with her!

Buttercrumbs Bakery
13 E Main St A, CorfuI’ve never been to the bakery itself but have bought their Almond Bear Claws, unknowingly made by them, from Burley Brothers in Attica. The employee asked me if I had ever been here and I was surprised to learn they weren’t very far away. Maybe I’m just not that observant but I had no idea this bakery existed! (I live in Northern Erie County but spend every weekend at our campsite in Varysburg)
These bear claws are heavenly!!! I was disappointed they only had 2 left for purchase because I would have loved to grab more. ?. I will have to try to get to the bakery on the one of the days they’re open. It’s nearly 45 minutes away from where I live, so it may be worth taking a day off from work to do so! (Had they been open this weekend I definitely would have visited to stock up and see what other deliciousness they have to offer!)
My rating is based on the quality of the product which is more important than someone having an off day (or a terrible one) - we all have them and I won’t let previous reviews regarding less than perfect service stop me from supporting a local small business. We’re all doing our best to get by and yes, we all have our off moments. Customer service is hard at times, I can imagine with limited resources, it’s even more challenging. You have no idea what people have going on in their personaI life which may be the reason for how they react or treat another person.
To the people leaving bad reviews on service - Just be kind - it’s not that hard. The bad reviews hurt the business more than you can imagine - why are you trying to contribute to trying to hurt their business based on service? When you post a review, in my opinion, it should be based on the quality of the product. Even if I go there and I have a less than perfect service experience, it would not stop me from returning.
Good quality baked goods are hard to come by when you have places like Tim’s and Duncan on every corner charging lower prices for less than subpar products. Good quality is worth the extra cost, even if the service isn’t perfect. I’d rather pay the extra and come back again regardless of the service experience. I pay for the product, not for someone to make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I’m not going to get all “butt hurt” like some of these people leaving bad reviews because my feelings were hurt. End of rant!
I hope I get to stop by soon! We’re also planning my daughters wedding and hope we can come in or make an appointment for a cake consult. ?
