“Modern, upscale recreational area that offers both relaxation and a space to be active. Several coffee shops offer a pleasant ambiance for working. There is a basketball court overlooking stunning scenery. This is a perfect day to spend an afternoon garnering inspiration from nature and doing creative work.”
“My children go here for acting class. They have such a great time that they are pumped up for the rest of the week! I feel like these classes have improved their confidence ans social skills. I'm grateful for the wonderful instructors.”
“Honestly amazing, great size, so many services to offer and friendly staff. I was blown away by all of the amazing things they offer, from a recording studio, a teen room, coffee and tea station, mini garden and many more, I enjoyed every second thoroughly and it really had that old library charm that I love so much. If you stop by be sure to say hi to the turtle downstairs and drop a coin in the funnel there.”
“Beautiful place and hikes. The photo of the map below does not always match the names or arrow/directions posted on the trail itself––very confusing. The place is not too big where are you will get very lost, but bring a GPS app also.”

Coco is truly an angel thanks to looking Glass animal rescue ❤️.I can't put into words how much coco means to me and how much she means to so many other people that she's encountered. “I loved this room. I celebrated my child's birthday, all the guests loved it, it was very clean, well equipped and the area was very quiet, I recommend it ?”
“Great organization preserving wooded and open spaces for native wildlife and plants. They have many properties that are open free to the public for hiking. Parking is usually limited and not paved. Restrooms are not usually available.”
“Food Rescue US is an AMAZING non-profit service for the poor of MiamiDade County. They faithfully deliver to a number of locations like Miami Rescue Mission, Camillus House, Royalton, Amistad, etc. No one should be eating out of filthy dumpsters or trash cans in MiamiDade County. Orlando or Jacksonville maybe, but not MiamiDade County. The MRM meals are excellent. One Friday I had steak and Mac N Cheese that was better than the Whole Foods hot bar. Camillus House has real chefs like Chef OJ and feed the homeless better than at home.
At the Royalton, Mrs. Hernandez is a faithful angel delivering quality food from Trader Joes or Whole Foods like lemons, limes, pineapple, kale, onions, strawberries, eggs, oat milk, cheese, chicken, steak, salmon, to nourish those battling late stage cancer, kidney dialysis, diabetes, etc.
The Food Rescue US leadership (including Ms. Ellen and Miss Santacaterina are wonderful), and this is why MiamiDade County under Mayor Suarez and Mayor Cava lead Florida in terms of ending chronic homelessness so that residents can become productive members of this nation. Berkeley, CA and Atlanta, GA and Durham, NC please take note.
Thank you!”
“I stopped by this cute little thrift shop and walked out with some amazing treasures. The staff we’re friendly and professional. You can find everything from clothing to furniture. If you’re looking for items for your home your guaranteed to find them in this shop. This is a must visit location for my fellow traveling thrifters.”
“There’s 40 acres of restorative landscaped and untended greenery at the New Canaan Nature Center, containing an arboretum, botanical garden and nature preserve. The landscaped spaces include a marvellous wildflower garden, in which 90% of the species are native, along with a herb garden and a perennial border growing hepatica, Jacob’s ladder, crested iris and bleeding heart. There’s a 370-square-meter greenhouse to check out, while out in the natural areas you can explore two ponds, an historic orchard, wet and dry meadows, cattail marsh and wet and dry woodland. Finally the arboretum has a small but admirable collection counting Swiss stone pine, weeping Norway spruce and moss sawara cypress.”
“YLIA has the best selection of stuff - and the best part - you are helping the community when you shop (or donate) there! The clothing stock is rotated, so you don't see the same stuff week after week- and the prices are great! I got a 'new' leather tote for $15 and when I looked it up online, it was worth $250! The finds are great!”
“Good program. You find clothes, kitchen and home items, some new and others used, but of great help for a family that is going through a difficult time. Prices are moderate. It has an excellent location and ample parking. The service is excellent and the people who serve are very friendly. I recommend it if you can help. I recommend it if you need some help.”
