“I love Trader Joe's in general, and this is a great location. Great selection of items (especially the frozen foods and prepared foods), fair prices, and the employees are always helpful. Usually there aren't super long lines. Parking is fine, there is usually a space in the parking lot even if I have to circle once. Definitely recommend”

“This local market has it all and then some. American staples and very interesting Asian foods. Hot and cold foods available, all fresh and yummy. They serve breakfast sandwiches which are perfect. Great value and full Bore's Head selections. The staff is kind, friendly and helpful. The coffee is good. They have lots of interesting desserts.”

“No plantains. Ugh. Not enough choices of sherbet. Get pineapple flavor. Fruits pretty good. Peaches need to be much , much larger. Fresh fish guys are perpetually angry and slow. Otherwise the employees are pretty excellent. Deli looks immaculate. Need to get prepackaged cheese. Not individually wrapped slices. Try Melobit brand. Whatever happened to Broadcast Brand corned beef hash? Gets pretty busy early in the day.”

“Looking for the neighborhood market with fresh fish, produce, meat, and baked goods, then venture into town and shop at Sgaglio's Marketplace. I highly recommend taking a look at their prepared meals too. I picked up the most delicious carrots as well as potato pancakes. Add any of these items to your meal and reduce your turnaround time. Your guests will delight in seeing you join them at the table sooner. The old-world charm here is welcoming, and the bakery counter sure comes in handy! Definitely worth shopping here..”

I had the opportunity to look at their redesigned fish counter. I got soft shell crabs, skate wing fish and prawn shrimps. This is some of the most tasteful fresh fish I have ever had. The skate wing I had never heard of but was recommended to me by the staff there so I decided to try it. It's like eating heaven.

Had a great time here looking in the bakery section and talking to the staff to get something custom done. Also went to the meat department to get a special cut of meat I wanted. Even though this place is out of the way for me I go here every chance I can”

While from the exterior it looks like a typical small store with last minute staple items, this one has an amazing butcher! if your grilling, one of my favorite marinaded meats can be found here. The prices on this incredible meat selection are usually better than your nearby supermarket and the quality better. Give it a try!”

“I stopped at that little shop last last week and was hoping to find some good cold cuts for Easter. Boy was I surprised with selection of of Eastern European regional products like Ukrainian bread and Polish kielbasa. If you stop there you must try excellent, Belgian style chocolate from Poland. Staff was very helpful and I left the store with two large bags of product. It was the best Easter ever for me and my family.”

For a smaller store then other SR it has a great selection of fresh produce, gourmet foods, deli, bakery and a wide variety of cheeses and grab & go meals. Always check the app for coupons! “Delicious food at the SmokeHouse Tailgate Grill, upstairs at the DeCiccos in Somers. We love the pulled pork sandwich, brisket sandwich, rub fries, and cornbread. The environment is casual with ordering at a kiosk and food delivered to your table. Very kid friendly with plenty of space and some toys set up for kids to play with while you eat. Will continue to come here for good food and relaxed environment.”

“Acme in New Canaan is a well-run store, and their bagels are a standout. All summer after tennis, my daughter and I would stop in for a fresh batch—often still warm from the oven. More than once, we couldn’t wait to get home and enjoyed them right in the car. We’ve tried every flavor, and while cinnamon raisin is my favorite, they’re all excellent.”
“When I first moved into this community, this was the first location I visited. They were innately welcoming and kind despite never having seen me before. The couple who own the place are diligent workers, and I've heard innumerable stories about the good deeds they've done for the lesser fortunate of Mt. Kisco. Deeds their humility would prevent them from sharing with others, but deeds that haven't gone unnoticed. Supporting this place is supporting this town.”
