“Bellport Inn is truly magical. This was our second stay, and this time we stayed in the Garden Suite—it was absolutely lovely.

Every small detail feels thoughtful and intentional. I traveled with my two little ones, and we had such a fun, memorable week. They loved the outdoor showers, the beautiful yard with traditional outdoor games, and all of the wonderful outdoor spaces, including the relaxing garden, fire pit, and wood-burning hot tub.

The accommodations themselves are incredibly comfortable. The luxurious bedding makes it so easy to settle in and get a wonderful night’s sleep, and the beautifully appointed bath, with all of the thoughtful essentials provided, adds another layer of comfort and care. Everything feels elevated without ever feeling fussy.

The Inn really seems to have thought of everything. There are complimentary bicycles, beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, and other beach gear to borrow, along with gourmet coffee and thoughtfully curated snacks. Some of the snacks are complimentary, which is such a lovely touch, and I especially loved the honor bar with its selection of North Fork wines, craft beers, and specialty cocktails. It all adds to the relaxed, welcoming feeling of the Inn and makes it so easy to settle in and enjoy the property.

The location is wonderful—within walking distance of Bellport Marina and the charming local boutiques, and one of the most special parts of staying here is being able to take the ferry over to Ho Hum Beach on Fire Island. Access is normally limited to Bellport residents and their guests, and staying at the Inn made it possible for us to arrange ferry passes during our stay. It felt like such a special bonus to have this experience practically at our doorstep. The beach is pristine, protected, beautifully uncrowded, and genuinely exclusive, giving you access to a part of Fire Island that most visitors simply don’t get to experience.

The garden might be my favorite part of this charming place. The quiet and serenity are unmatched—it feels so private, peaceful, and removed from everything. It’s the kind of place where you immediately slow down.

The owners, Ivana and John make the experience even more special. They are incredibly warm and thoughtful hosts, and you can feel the care they’ve poured into every corner of Bellport Inn. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality make the entire stay feel personal, welcoming, and truly memorable.

I’ve traveled extensively and stayed in some extraordinary places around the world, so I don’t say this lightly: Bellport Inn is genuinely one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed. It’s beautiful, peaceful, comfortable, spotless, historic, and completely full of charm.

Five stars without hesitation. If you’re looking for a truly special place with luxurious comfort, thoughtful amenities, wonderful hosts, incredible serenity, and access to a beautiful and exclusive corner of Fire Island, this is your spot.”

“Everyone was so nice who worked here! The gentleman working the front desk when we checked in was nice and funny (I am the Hilton card lady 😀). The ladies who worked the breakfast were nice, smiling and personable. We encountered the ladies with housekeeping and they always looked up smiled and said hello. The room was nice and as pictures indicated.

“I go here quite often and the staff is so friendly . It’s the first hotel I’ve stayed at that I see the staff clean most of the day . Not only the rooms but everything . You walk in and it smells clean . They also have a restaurant attached that also has good food . The location is near the expressway for quick access for travel. Close by are eatery’s and stores (groceries as well as clothing stores ) . I can’t wait to stay there again”

“Lands end is a classic Motel. The location on the water is fantastic and my room was modern and clean. Enjoyed several self catered meals at the outdoor seating area in the hedged yard in front of the rooms. Staff was helpful and informative. Neighborhood is very walkable and a mix of active commercial waterfront, residential homes and a county park. Will stay there again!”

“I love staying here whenever I want to stay the night on Fire Island. Jeff is an absolute pleasure and more than accommodating. The room is cute and always clean and the price is reasonable for the island. Also it's in prime area so whats not to love about that? I will be returning ! The negative reviews here make me smile at how much people complain :)”

“Travel for business and stayed 1 night. Parking was a nightmare as the lot was packed and along the entrance curb and even out on street. Staff was very courteous and friendly. Check in was quick and simple. 1 elevator was operating. Room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable along with pillows. Bathroom was clean. Microwave and refrigerator in room. Many many stores near by and other things to do. High traffic area. Breakfast was provided.”

“This is a very clean and nice hotel. There was a welcome package with goodies and extra gift miles, which was a nice touch. The complementary breakfast is a bonus, but parking price is a bit odd given that there are plenty of free lots nearby. There is not much to do nearby, but it is a convenient stay for a visit to central LI.”

“FIBH was so convenient staff picks up your baggage from ferry and will hold so you can enjoy amenities pool, beach , bar etc until room is ready and the same the day u check out also !Jeanie , Alexa and Bellmen Jose and Edwin made our trip stress free and felt all the staff went out of their way for us !Rooms and pool were clean and updated see you next summer!”
