“This is a very clean and nice hotel. There was a welcome package with goodies and extra gift miles, which was a nice touch. The complementary breakfast is a bonus, but parking price is a bit odd given that there are plenty of free lots nearby. There is not much to do nearby, but it is a convenient stay for a visit to central LI.”
“What a wonderful place to escape the busyness of NYC! We had an amazing time. The town is charming, the hotel is lovely, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. Now we just need to come back in the summer!”

“Of my last seven or eight hotel stays, which were mainly Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton Inn by Hilton and Hyatt Place this hotel was head and shoulders superior. It’s a very large and spacious property. The service is fantastic. Very friendly staff. They keep the place in impeccable and again I was really pleasantly surprised. I would’ve thought a Holiday Inn would not be as nice as the affirmation chains when in fact it was far nicer. The room’s better the linens better the breakfast better and the staff better trained friendly happy to be there. Happy to help.”

“My husband and I spent a week here in September. We had a wonderful experience. The room was a good size and had been recently renovated and decorated. There was plenty of space and the king bed was very comfortable.The staff were very caring and easy to speak with. We even got phone calls to be sure we were not lacking anything.I will surely stay here the next time I visit my friend in the area.”

“Went with 2 toddlers so we chose this location mostly for food and breakfast. Pool hours are basically all day AND night. Breakfast options were great to get the job done, and rooms were clean.”
“Stayed here for a short stay, bed was very comfortable, the rooms were clean, and the staff was very nice. I tried to take a hot bath because it was SO cold out for me coming from Florida but the drain stopper didn’t work at all. The only thing that was kind of annoying was the wifi. I did the whole login thing and everything and it just did not connect at all. So if you were trying to work from your room it probably won’t work.”

“Very big, comfortable rooms. The breakfast is excellent. My only real complaint is that it is impossible to take a shower and not get the floor wet which wouldn't be a big deal but the maid never made up our room for the 5 days we were there.”

The rooms were clean and fresh.
The beds were OK, but not the greatest or best I have been on. Well loved is a nice way to say it.
The staff were very friendly.
Our last two days only one of the two elevators were operational.
The paid breakfast is no better than any “free” breakfast anywhere similar.
Three location was perfect for my needs.
Prices are crazy, but understandable for the area.”
“Right off a quiet part of the main road , so it was a quiet and peaceful stay , great service and moderately priced. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay ! Oh and comfortable beds !!!!Walkability: Many desirable businesses are very close!!”

The room furnishings aren't in the best condition, and the cleaning job was a bit shabby, but the bed was very comfortable and the room had a nice rainfall shower and access to gorgeous upper deck views. Parking would have been an issue, but we got lucky with a spot.”
“Went to cash in a lottery ticket and awed with the place. Great security at the door. The people were all professional and courteous. The environment was a bit loud for me.
Parking lot was crazy trying to find a spot. Valet Parking is available for the guests. I don't know if there is a fee. Sometimes there is.”
“I was respectfully greeded when I approached to reserve a room. The environment was very calm and clean. The plants that surrounded me as I was conversating with the employee to reserve my room....... were all wonderfully "real" and watered to a healthy perfection. When I opened the door to my room...... I was once again very pleased...... because everything was to the standards and clean. The carpet was vacuumed and clean and the bed was neatly prepped with clean covers (also checked the sheets because why not) and...... once again pleasingly clean with a pleasant fragrance of cleanliness. Thank you. For a truly comfortable, peaceful and affordable stay. I was facing a very challenging presentation the next day and I am actually being honest and thankful for my stay at the MacArthur inn...... I am a hard working mother who has three wonderful children and my job unfortunately requires me to travel and sometimes on my own dime and I genuinely always wish there would be a genuine, honest and clean, affordable stay inn's and this was exactly what I imagine. The next day on my presentation I truly aced my goals! All because all the expenses and frustrations were swift away with the honesty of MacArthur inn!Thank you..... sincerely E.S”

“My stay at la Quinta islip was extremely perfect the staff was more then accommodating the night time guy was so helpful making sure my tv worked even switching my room make sure I had a working TV the morning crew was so pleasant and so helpful I would recommend this place to anyone and yes they have hot water one night stay took a hot shower the night I checked in and the next morning the breakfast was great coffee on tap at anytime wish I could give 10 stars I am extremely pleased with my stay I would definitely stay there again.”

“I go here quite often and the staff is so friendly . It’s the first hotel I’ve stayed at that I see the staff clean most of the day . Not only the rooms but everything . You walk in and it smells clean . They also have a restaurant attached that also has good food . The location is near the expressway for quick access for travel. Close by are eatery’s and stores (groceries as well as clothing stores ) . I can’t wait to stay there again”
