Walgreens Pharmacy in Bethpage is older and rundown looking, but staff is helpful and friendly. Customers grab Biofreeze at great sale price, buy birthday cards and chocolate. Previously very good and efficient, but lately feels chaotic and confused with inexperience behind the counter. Computer system problems cause delays in prescriptions from doctors, frustrating some shoppers. Customers often appreciate the convenience of quick purchases.
This Walgreens is in Levitown /Bethpage off of Hempstead Turnpike. Heres the gimmick I had a 5 dollar coupon - rings up 4.99. Had to buy one piece of candy - which was 50 cents. The young man at the register was very sweet and helpful.
