“Visiting from Canada, we saw this store on our way to Lake Placid. Right inside the door we saw boxes of a very-special Eastern European delight called Chrusciki. GO.BUY.THEM. We ate the whole box back in our hotel room and the staff had to be called to vacuum up all the powdered sugar on the floor after we washed our clothes. That's meant to be funny. But, the fellow who helped us obviously loved to sell what they offered. If we lived closer, I would be there every week.”
“The Brighton Mini Mart might look like your run of the mill pit stop for food and gas, but who knew that it had so much more to offer than fuel?I pulled in at around 5pm on a typical workday, and was immediately greeted by the soothing hum of passing cars and a light aroma of gasoline ?As I drifted off and the outside world slowly faded away and I entered a delightful realm of dream inhabited by timber folk leprechauns.I woke up a mere two hours lately completely rejuvenated and ready to take on the world again.While I can't speak for their snack offerings, service, or food prices, I wholeheartedly recommend this unexpected haven for a power nap. Five stars, will be returning regularly!!”

“I love shopping at the Saranac Lake Grand Union. They have great produce with Amanda and Penny working daily to keep things in order. Also like the meat department and grocery too. I don't buy non foods or general merchandise at the store. Some of the prices are too high but they have fantastic sales!!! Great service and great variety.?”
