“CARSTAR Faith Auto Works did a great job repairing rear-end damage I had from an accident. Scheduling was easy and they handled everything with the insurance company. Lisa was great to work with during scheduling, dropping off, and picking up the car. Having a relationship with the local Enterprise office was super convenient as well so I could drop off the rental right at the shop. Getting text updates on the status of the repair made for a very transparent process. The car looks as good as new. “These guys will do anything for you to make sure your tires are in good repair. I needed to swap 4 tires from one vehicle to another. I showed up and was called in less than 5 minutes. The entire job was finished within 35 minutes... and that included balancing one set of those tires. The cost was more than fair. I have used these guys for years and will continue to do so as long as the service and work quality remain the same. We drove 23 miles to get to this place rather than use a local shop near to me. When you are here, they will definitely take good care of you... and at a great price.”

“If I could give them 6 stars I would.My background: Former small business owner. I also know a little about car repair/maintenance but I can only work on the old stuff (80s) and do oil changes and brakes on the new stuff like my car (2015 Forester XT). With two kids, work, etc--I don't have time to do most of this stuff. If I have the time, I don't have the will.Got tired of going to the dealer. Local mechanic is good, but misdiagnosed an issue once that was kinda basic, so I became a little leery this time last year of continuing to use them.Spent a weekend+ googling and reading Subaru-specific forums, and found these guys. They came with high recommendations. So I went down there.Good bunch of guys and girl(s) that own/run that place. I've watched what they do, and I've seen how they treat every customer when I've been there. Pricing is really fair, and they're honest. Honesty goes a long way with me. I don't live around the corner, and it's a little bit of a pain for me to get there via public transportation when I need to pickup my car, but I'm working on that. It's worth it tho, because I know these guys do things the right way.They will work on virtually anything, but if you're a guy (or girl) with a WRX or STi and you're looking for a place to do upgrades and god knows what else, this is your place. If you're like me and have the WRX just in the Dad version (Forester) it's a wonderful place to take it to know that it's being treated right.They seem to do performance upgrades and routine maintenance all vehicles, but specialize in Subarus.I recently had my 2015 Forester XT here for some deferred maintenance; Spark plugs and a carbon clean/walnut blasting. I kid you not, my car now runs like the day I drove it off the lot 8+ years ago. Dramatic, dramatic difference.I plan my car maintenance now around my days off from work and T&W's availability. He greeted me at the curb and I asked him my strange request. He was more than helpful. Lent me the necessary tools and even help me troubleshoot the problem. “I had a major leak in my car-my carpets were saturated with water. My air conditioning line was leaking onto the floor of my car . The entirety of the floor of the car was saturated .I went to Smithtown Toyota who wanted to charge me for all kinds of stuff that I didn't need. I left Toyota , borrowed a wet dry vac and did what I could to get out as much water as I was able to and went to a couple different places to see about getting the carpet taken out and cleaned. It smelled horrible and the carpet was still saturated .* I was referred to Smithtown Auto Trim.Al the owner, was a gentleman .He diagnosed the problem accurately and took apart my car,assessed what needed to be done to make sure I had no moisture, mildew, or damage, and put everything back together.He was honest, fair, and straightforward.I especially appreciate him taking the time to explain to me what the problem was and how to prevent it . When I got my car back, it smelled good and my carpets were clean and dry.I appreciate his professionalism.I will never go back to Toyota again.What I learned today is that if you want a professional job done, you bring it to a professional -and that is Al.
