“I just had to leave an outstanding review for Dawn who works here! Yesterday I walked in without a reservation with an out of state guest. He was looking to rent a car for two days during his visit. Since he doesn’t have a credit card to hold the reservation and wanted to use his debit card, he was refused a rental from at least eight other places. However, when we walked in yesterday, we were welcomed in by Dawn with kindness and professionalism. She helped him right away, went through the process of gathering his information, confirming his credit and got him in a rental in about 10 minutes! She made the whole process such an absolute pleasure!! As I live very local, I plan to come back to this place for any future rentals just because of the amazing service we got from Dawn!! I highly recommend this car rental!”

“It's always hectic at the airport and the rental car line is where you are tested. But Budget changed all that. Most of the work is done online before you get there. Fast, convenient and great customer service. Yes there was a line but it moved so fast, I couldn't complain. Knowledgeable staff make all the difference and that smile was icing on the cake. Love the cars, No surprises, that never happens.

“I just spent a week renting a car from Hertz in Smithtown, with an option to purchase. From the start, my salesman Lawrence Maniscalco and his GM Jason were extremely helpful and professional. They did all the work, met my needs, and made my experience very worthwhile. I ended up buying the car. Hertz of Smithtown is totally legitimate and transparent. The only reason I didn’t give them a perfect 5 star review is because I received just one key. I will need to go to Nissan for a second key and that’s going to cost me another $500. I was hoping Hertz would order me a second key or deduct $500 from the price of my car but they said they couldn’t do either. Given that, I gave Hertz of Smithtown 4 stars, but that has no bearing on my salesman Lawrence or the GM Jason. The two of them deserve perfect 5/5 scores for the amazing job they did for me. Hertz owes me $500. They left me feeling very disappointed and they clearly do not appreciate me as a customer or value my business.”
