“A surprising, hidden commodity in a lovely part of New Fairfield! The shop is trendy, carries a wide array of sizes, and has a variety of styles and fits for all aesthetics. I particularly loved their assortment of dresses, jackets, and pant options. And prices are fairly comparable to what you would pay at any major retailer, if not lower for certain items—beats having to take a trip to the mall!
Currently, I have a mental image of several items that I would love to go back for and I’m definitely excited to stop back in again and see what else they have to offer!”

I visited Victoria Secret first and it was no good, service was very lukewarm (cold to be honest) and had a member of staff even open a drawer into my ankle because she couldn't wait for me to finish looking first. Decided they didn't want my business, so so glad I stepped into this Soma instead. I was in desperate need of a remeasure and some new bras, and they had a lovely very elegant and classy selection. “By far one of the coolest stores in westchester!! Always something lust worthy and really special to buy. Plus there are always the perfect classic staples too. Everything in the store is perfectly curated and all the pieces are built to last. Definitely an emphasis on quality pieces. Oh and they have awesome little selection of jewelry and other cool gift items & accessories. Everyone that works there is so nice and super helpful! This store is a must!”

“One of the few places to find quality plus size Womens clothing in the mall, and a pretty great petite selection as well. Found several really cute tops and, lucky me, there was a great sale going on (50% off!). Sales ladies were fabulous, helpful & informative. Store was organized, beautiful and dressing rooms were clean and nicely appointed. I don’t shop often so this was a really nice experience.”

“I've been a Banana Republic shopper for over 30 years and counting. Absolutely love going into the Banana Republic store inside Danbury Fair Mall because I can try things on, see all options and with any luck find a wonderful clearance sale or two on a weekly basis. One thing has definitely change, bring back the REALLY GOOD CLEARANCE SALES PLEASE. Staff has changed a lot over the years, used to know all associates by name & they knew mine as well. I do miss the kind and friendly staff they had there prior to Covid. Perhaps with this post you have received some positive feedback from someone who knows and purchases your products weekly. She was quick to help and bring me her suggestions. She made me so comfortable and I left a happy customer. She also went above and beyond and entertained my children. “Shopping at Ruby Sue has been the most enjoyable retail experience for me over the last 20 years that I have been supporting this beautifully curated women, owned small business. I love coming in, because the women working there truly know how to mix and match the merchandise to make you feel good about almost anything you try on! I always leave feeling like I've gotten a style refresh; fun and confident going into the rest of my days. This is not only because of the ever changing inventory, but it is because of the kind hearted nature of the knowledgeable staff. These women go out of their way to make sure every one feels beautiful in what they try on, and themselves! They do this without feeling pushy, which is so important to me when shopping.One more thing I would like to mention is that over the years of shopping here, I have come to know that this business was started by a single mother, who raised and supported her family through the support of our local community.
