“I've been going to Pure Barre Ridgefield since I moved here 4 years ago. It is the only workout/gym that I've ever truly looked forward to going to! It is an incredible workout (with 4 different formats that cover ALL of the bases) and an equally incredible community of people. The teachers and staff are all welcoming, compassionate and motivating and I've made so many friends through PBR. It is the farthest thing from intimidating and has become a home away from home to many, including myself! I always leave feeling so much better and stronger. Could not recommend PBR more! Do yourself a favor and try a class!”
“The best anti sag socks, won't get sucked into yr boot! Don't like their hat sizes m-l, vs medium. Small didn't cover my ears n m-l was too big. The employees are a cut above, they are attentive and very polite and helpful!!!”
“I was in a week ago to return some bras that I had purchased online (was trying a few different styles and sizes as this was my first attempt trying Soma bras). Sam and Brianna were fantastic. Sam helped me a the the register and was friendly even I told her I was returning 10 bras. Brianna sorted out sizing and fitting of the bras and was very patient. Great experience and highly recommend anyone who wants to try Soma bras to see these ladies.”
“A surprising, hidden commodity in a lovely part of New Fairfield! The shop is trendy, carries a wide array of sizes, and has a variety of styles and fits for all aesthetics. I particularly loved their assortment of dresses, jackets, and pant options. And prices are fairly comparable to what you would pay at any major retailer, if not lower for certain items—beats having to take a trip to the mall!
Currently, I have a mental image of several items that I would love to go back for and I’m definitely excited to stop back in again and see what else they have to offer!”

“The owner, Mora, makes you feel right at home. She's owned this store in Ridgefield (previously called Children's Corner) for 25 years. However, 15 years ago she decided to expand. So, she moved to Bailey Avenue in Ridgefield + sells consignment clothing for both women + children. (Sorry guys!) I've been driving by this location for years. Kept telling myself that I really ought to stop in some day. TODAY WAS THE DAY! The entrance is deceiving - you walk down about 6 stairs + open the door. The amount she has to offer is amazing! All sorted by type: active, dresses, skirts, blouses, et.c. Do yourself a favor + stop by. She even has a clearance rack. I picked up a lovely bathing suit + a silky blouse.”

“Had an awesome experience building my first board with Jacob today. I went in completely blind after my daughter asked me to learn to ride with her. The store manager, Jacob, explained everything clearly and did a fantastic job getting me everything I need to start out. He was transparent on pricing, and what makes sense as a beginner. Overall a very warm introduction to the sport. I couldn't be happier with my board, gear, and my entire experience at Zumiez. Thanks Jacob!”

“One of the few places to find quality plus size Womens clothing in the mall, and a pretty great petite selection as well. Found several really cute tops and, lucky me, there was a great sale going on (50% off!). Sales ladies were fabulous, helpful & informative. Store was organized, beautiful and dressing rooms were clean and nicely appointed. I don’t shop often so this was a really nice experience.”

“I've been a Banana Republic shopper for over 30 years and counting. Absolutely love going into the Banana Republic store inside Danbury Fair Mall because I can try things on, see all options and with any luck find a wonderful clearance sale or two on a weekly basis. One thing has definitely change, bring back the REALLY GOOD CLEARANCE SALES PLEASE. Staff has changed a lot over the years, used to know all associates by name & they knew mine as well. I do miss the kind and friendly staff they had there prior to Covid. Perhaps with this post you have received some positive feedback from someone who knows and purchases your products weekly. “Nice pieces overall, especially to promote their mission of sustainability. The shop is in a prime location where the “boutique experience” is really needed. Everything is well organized and if you hunt, you’re bound to find something special. However, I can’t help but feel that the aesthetic of the shop as a whole doesn’t match the prices they’re asking for some of the garments.”

She was friendly, down to earth, took the time to listen to what I wanted, and even gave me tips to help style myself at home. “Such a great experience today finding the right size pants. I was feeling discouraged because I couldn’t find the right size in two stores I already been in. She was quick to help and bring me her suggestions. She made me so comfortable and I left a happy customer. She also went above and beyond and entertained my children. I love coming in, because the women working there truly know how to mix and match the merchandise to make you feel good about almost anything you try on! I always leave feeling like I've gotten a style refresh; fun and confident going into the rest of my days. This is not only because of the ever changing inventory, but it is because of the kind hearted nature of the knowledgeable staff. These women go out of their way to make sure every one feels beautiful in what they try on, and themselves! They do this without feeling pushy, which is so important to me when shopping.One more thing I would like to mention is that over the years of shopping here, I have come to know that this business was started by a single mother, who raised and supported her family through the support of our local community.
