I visited Victoria Secret first and it was no good, service was very lukewarm (cold to be honest) and had a member of staff even open a drawer into my ankle because she couldn't wait for me to finish looking first. Decided they didn't want my business, so so glad I stepped into this Soma instead. I was in desperate need of a remeasure and some new bras, and they had a lovely very elegant and classy selection. “I do appreciate there being a JCP at my local mall. It is useful to have but also painstakingly obvious that not many mall shoppers frequent the establishment. There are great deals and the portrait center is a godsend.”
“One of the few places to find quality plus size Womens clothing in the mall, and a pretty great petite selection as well. Found several really cute tops and, lucky me, there was a great sale going on (50% off!). Sales ladies were fabulous, helpful & informative. Store was organized, beautiful and dressing rooms were clean and nicely appointed. I don’t shop often so this was a really nice experience.”
“I've been a Banana Republic shopper for over 30 years and counting. Absolutely love going into the Banana Republic store inside Danbury Fair Mall because I can try things on, see all options and with any luck find a wonderful clearance sale or two on a weekly basis. One thing has definitely change, bring back the REALLY GOOD CLEARANCE SALES PLEASE. Staff has changed a lot over the years, used to know all associates by name & they knew mine as well. I do miss the kind and friendly staff they had there prior to Covid. Perhaps with this post you have received some positive feedback from someone who knows and purchases your products weekly. “I don't typically leave reviews but I had a great experience here. I recently went in for the first time and had my hair cut by Jessica. It was great! She was friendly, down to earth, took the time to listen to what I wanted, and even gave me tips to help style myself at home. The rest of the staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient and the facilities were very clean. I would recommend this salon to everyone.”

“Was greeted right when we walked into the store. They had a good variety of things including lots of lgbt celebrating clothes and accessories. There were hats, socks, beanies, etc representing all the different flags. We had a great shopping experience. Would definitely revisit.”
“Such a great experience today finding the right size pants. I was feeling discouraged because I couldn’t find the right size in two stores I already been in. She was quick to help and bring me her suggestions. She made me so comfortable and I left a happy customer. She also went above and beyond and entertained my children. “The woman with the long hair in the Baby Gap section was incredibly helpful and is fantastic with kids! My 7 month old was starting to get tired and cranky, but this sales associate brought a smile to his face and made him laugh. We needed a dressier outfit for him and she showed us the options they had in store in his size. My son is tall, so we were looking for something in size 12-18. Some of the dress shirts had buttons that could be dangerous for a 7 month old. She brought it to our attention, which we were very grateful for. We ended up finding a polo for him and a lot of other cute items. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will definitely return. The only thing that could be improved would be more sizes in stock.”

“This location is incredibly well kept and has the friendliest staff ever. They helped me as I circle through ourfits, found didfent sizes and gave fashion insight as asked. They are not at all pushy, and if you prefer to shop by yourself they will happily step back. HOWEVER, that said they should get a customer service award for the effort they put into their work. Truly great people.”

“My kids love shopping here and I dreaded visiting because the workers were always hit or miss, and the dressing room was rarely open.
We recently visited and there was immediate relief. We were welcomed, and the worker there told us about the sale they were having. Overall, a much better experience! I don't even leave reviews... but I wanted to share how nice the guy was and we appreciated him. I hope the company takes good care of him.”

“We don’t have an Aerie where we live, so we were really excited to finally visit the one at Danbury Fair Mall. It ended up being such a great experience. Everyone who worked there was genuinely kind and super helpful. The store was clean, organized, and easy to shop in. Anytime we asked for something, they found it right away. They also helped size my daughter for a bra and made her feel totally comfortable, which meant a lot. Overall, it was a really nice visit and definitely worth the trip.”

“Absolutely amazing service. We had two dresses that needed to be hemmed for a wedding at the last minute. Both were done within 24 hours and Irene was lovely. In and out in fifteen minutes for a very fair price.”
