“Just used them on Saturday, what a great overall experience. First, they called a few days before the move. They'd checked the weather and adjusted to come earlier to beat the rain and protect our stuff. Three professionals came and got right to work disassembling and packing our stuff. Then came to the new house and placed everything where we wanted it with care and concern. We had a house full of stuff and they didn't bat an eye. Even finished under the allotted time and got us in under estimate. I've used movers before, and this experience blows them out of the water. Money well spent, will use them again!”

“I had my.posessions in self storage over 20 years . Bob the previous owner is a good man. My employment took me all over the world. I would sometimes pay 3 to 6 months at a time for a few many yrars. If someone once said to me, i'm not wishing this on you, but what if something happened while you were overseas or in another state? And you paid six months ahead of time. I thought about it and then just kept it at two months at a time, I would pay. In fact, after twenty years, when I came to new york to finally close the storage, realizing my two bedroom condo could not possibly store anything, and why was I paying storage. Bob was someone that I wanted to donate the sum of my things to his church. Most of my stuff was going to be divided between two nephews who had recently bought homes. I was now living in jacksonville, florida, being a caregiver for my mom who it's eighty five years old. I knew traveling would be difficult to drive to new york, but my mom wanted to see her other children that still resided in new york. I decided to pay a few months ahead of time.So that when I arrived in new york, I would have no problem.Entering my storage. I had a week too cooldinate donating stuff to the church, and having my nephews come and take the rest. For 2 days while I was in New York I went to the store
But, to no avail, there was nobody in the office. It took me a while to get a hold of someone with the phone number.I had but I finally did. I was told that I owe
A month's rent and that I am being charged a late fee, and for that reason until the month was paid, I would not have access to my storage. At this time, I did not know that the new management did not want to receive checks anymore and to pay them online. There was a big mix up, and I had mentioned that I actually paid a few months ahead of time, and there's no way that I should have any late fees or no access to my storage. When I mentioned to them that I had sent jacks for April and may they proceeded to tell me they don't accept checks. Anymore, and I told them that's probably why you haven't gotten paid.Because those checks are sitting in the office and nobody works in the office.Anymore. Meanwhile, the week I had to empty the storage and went by. And I came back to Jacksonville Florida and ended up abandoning
My unit beard, I didn't just not do anything I called and told them that's what I wanted to do, because being disabled, I couldn't get back to new york and my mother was very sick with the cancer. Anyway, I've spoken too much and I don't hold any grievance. We settled things professionally.”
