The shop is the secret identity of a non-profit that promotes writing among young students and often publishes their work. It's worth spending a few dollars to support them, as the proceeds go towards providing tutoring and literacy programs for children. The storefront is gimmicky, targeting younger school-age children, but some adults may enjoy it too. The shop has locations throughout the country, each with a different themed storefront. Nice shop in the heart of Brooklyn, fair prices, cute items and best of all, the shop is actually the secret identity of a non-profit that promotes writing among young students (and often publishes it too). It's worth spending a few dollars to support them! (Plus the clerk was super nice).

I am grateful that a space like this exists. It's a supportive nurturing writing environment for all children. They offer free and slidding scale tuition. My son has attended In person and online classes. I appreciate this place so much I donate even when my son is not in attendance.

This place is so much fun and just the coolest. The staff are super nice and the store is quirky and unique. They have everything needed for an aspiring super hero (and the world needs more of those). Good for kids (and heroes) off all ages (and adults too)… just bring your imagination.
