“Amazing establishment for kids’ entertainment. Hoping they find a new location in the neighborhood fairly quickly. It’s so important to keep places like this thriving for the community. Keep up the great work, Puppet Works!”
“A small intimate venue that has great sound proofing. I had the privilege of seeing Marcus Gilmore and others during Jazz Fest and it was one of my favorite venues. You can choose the floor or upstairs for an arial view. It’s a tight squeeze so make sure to arrive early for a good seat! Highly recommend!”
“We love BCM. It has so much for kids to do and is fun for adults as well. We had our child’s 3rd birthday here and Morgan and team were wonderful and really knocked it out of the park. Everyone had a great time and it was a good balance of in room fun and museum exploration. Can’t wait to go back!”
“I had my rescue spayed at their clinic and adopted her little brother from the cafe and everything went 100% smoothly. They are very communicative and give you any and all information you might need when dealing with new kittens in the home. Any time I’ve had a concern I’ve been able to email and get a response in a few hours. They made some very stressful moments exponentially easier (and cheaper!) The people who run the clinic and take care of adoptions are so kind and always want the best for your babies.”
“Such an amazing part of NYC history. From the Museum and the Sideshow. So much I never knew about my own city.Plus the gift shop is filled with really cool and unique things made by local artists.”
“I cannot say enough about the help and guidance I have received from this organization
William Morales went above and beyond anything I ever expected. Kudos to Bread of Life and their staff.”

“We recently hosted a big family celebration at Brooklyn Bank. From the moment we first laid eyes on the space, we knew this was the right venue for our party. The interior design is so magnificent that the photos on the website hardly do it justice. The staff at Brooklyn Bank were a pleasure to work with, before and during the event. They allowed us to visit several times in advance of our event for planning purposes. We would recommend this venue to anyone looking to throw a memorable celebration or event in Brooklyn!”
“The individuals that work and volunteer there are so friendly and wonderful ppl. I truly admire them and as well appreciate the service they provide feeding the community, I just love my neighborhood and community as well.”
“My students and I went to do volunteer work. It is an amazing experience. The regular staff is very helpful. The music motivates and great air conditioning. Wonderful opportunities”
“They have a huge and very affordable selection of fabrics, leather, yarn, clothing, etc. It's the perfect place for local crafters. There are also volunteer opportunities available on their website.
There is free parking for cars and bikes. I would recommend looking at their instructions on their website. They are located on the 5th floor of Building B. It might not look like you can walk around on the first floor, but you're fine.”
“I’m a little taken aback by the recent negative reviews. My daughter attended the full summer camp session, all 8-weeks. She is a very particular child who sometimes has unrealistic expectations of places, people and things. Her time here however has been well spent. She truly appreciated each and every one of her counselors and spoke very highly of them. She has been fully engaged in EVERY thing HES has to offer her this summer. So much so, she requested for me to register her for afterschool. I honored her request. We had a few hiccups and when we did I would reach out to Mr.Lebowitz. I want to acknowledge him for his efforts to always resolve issues in a prompt and fair manner. Any concerns raised was looked into and handled with professionalism. I just want to add that while this is an educational and recreational facility, it too will be affected by the growing costs of day to day expenses to maintain the facility. I urge parents to express any financial concerns because often times there are solutions. I look forward to having my daughter gain more meaningful experiences and thank EVERY SINGLE INDIVIDUAL who made this summer a feat one for her.”
“Excellent service thank you for being available for seniors.Who need help crossing the street. Mr. RussellThanks Crystal for your Grace and knowledge and being a ray of sunshineStay Blessed”
“Enjoyed the selection! One thing is that as a bookstore maybe use the right word. The letter your looking for here is ñ. On windows you can access it with alt + 164”
“Children of Promise are our neighbors across the street. We would not want it any other way. The counselors clearly are dedicated to what they do, and dedicated to the kids. It’s so fantastic to see such a great organization, giving guidance, love, structure to the kids, while their parents are Busy during the day. The counselors clearly know what they’re doing, the kids are always so well behaved, so friendly, and hearing that laughter is joyful, it’s like music. We’re grateful to have such fantastic neighbors across the street and getting future generations ready for what comes next in life. We love them, we glad they are our neighbors.”
“Went with the staff of SCTPN on a field trip to Kings County Hospital, where they were able to pick the brains of nurses, drs, cnas and more to learn about hospital procedures and treatments for patients living with sickle cell disease.”
“Wow, what a ginormous workshop & artistic space that's out of this world! May all historic buildings be repurposed into spaces for housing & creativity!”
“Every kid must experience this place. It is so cool! Hidden room is the best! Their 826 class is such an amazing gift to the community! Love the place and the people who work here and gives kids all this magic!”
“A nonprofit community space inspired by the book Bailey’s Cafe by Gloria Naylor. It acts like a welcoming gathering place where people can come to heal, connect, and be creative.
The organization offers free programs for all ages, including art classes, wellness activities, and community events. It’s meant to feel like a “secular church” or a friendly kitchen table—a safe, non-judgmental place where everyone belongs.
It also supports local artists and small business owners by hosting workshops, classes, and pop-up shops.

“Thank you so much, Goodwil employee. I forgot my bag right next to the shelf and left the store. I called the and let them know. I'm so lucky that one of the employees noticed it and took it. All my documents and personal belongings are safe and sound. Thank you so much! I was afraid it would be stolen ?”

“I E-Mailed them. Got straight to the point. They told me a time, I went in & it was printed already. And very cheap. Moshe & Menachem, you are the best, cheapest store.”
“I worked with Grisselle as a personal trainer at this location and would definitely recommend her. She is very patient and thorough, and has been great to work with as someone trying to expand my workout capabilities. She is very good at adapting the workouts and building up slowly.”
“I came for the 1800 happy birthday exhibit. This studio has great community vibes, I’ve enjoyed the different events that accompanied the exhibit like the book swap, so far sounds performance, and vice documentary screening. I signed up for their mailing list and look forward to visiting future events in this space.”
“I had a really positive experience with Dor Yeshorim. The process was simple, respectful, and confidential. The staff were kind and professional, i would highly recommend Dor Yeshorim.”
“Extremely nice people, handing out much needed fresh food to the community. Thank you, we are grateful and appreciate your service to the underprivileged of Coney Island”
“Wonderful community culinary learning center, that gives back to the community. The chef does an excellent job teaching food handling, cooking and presentation to students. I love how they give fresh produce to the community everyweek. Truly one of Brownsville pride and joy. Thank you Danny Goodine and MELS for ensuring this space stays opened to the community needs!”
“If you enjoy locker rooms where men shower with the curtains wide open while making direct eye contact with every lucky passer by, then this is the locker room for you!
Don't forget to take in the view through the big window on the sauna door—where you should feel free to spreadeagle your towel-less turkey waddle directly facing the window for all to appreciate. Thank you mystery man! Gobble gobble!
While down there, make sure to check out all the octagenarian athletes' impressive balls. A bunch of naked old guys standing around reminiscing—likely about prison showers and 1950s locker rooms— for an hour or two, really makes you appreciate how important it is to stop and enjoy the little things.
But for those of you who prefer a more contemporary view whilst trying to open your locker without accidentally castrating an overly comfortable stranger, don't worry, there's no shortage of (in the)buff Brooklyn bros—who, once they put down their phones and finally find their socks, will take another 20 minutes to decide which foot they go on—to enjoy after a good workout.
Who said there's no more 3rd spaces left in the city? 5 stars is way too low for all that you get. Some clubs charge a $20 cover and you still have to buy drinks! I highly recommend spending the extra few dollars to splurge on the citywide membership.”

“Ok, The BridgeWhat's is a bridge? What is the purpose? Well today I wanted to find out more about the multicultural Bridge and its strong foundation and how it truly connects people in a very unique way with love and understanding as a standard and guiding principle. I had a wonderful experience at this location and I encourage all people to come to this place and attend an event. Mark is changing lives everyday with his efforts. Today I stand with Mark as not only a friend but as a brother.I hope this review was helpful ?”
“Highly recommend AMA - they are passionate about what they do and thorough with their procedures. They ensure their pets are healthy and going into good homes. We adopted our kitten and Jovanna & Anna made the process very smooth. We appreciated their high standard of ethics and professionalism and would suggest anyone turn to them for adoption or rescue.”
