“Artist & Craftsman store for years— I’ve been so happy to find that the Williamsburg location offers the same level of warmth and kind customer service! Taylor and Abdiel helped me find some leather paints this week, Bryn and another associate (whose name is escaping me, sorry) helped me with spray paint/acrylics recently as well. Everyone was so patient and they never make me feel annoying for asking advice about the products. I will keep coming back, because the experience reminds me of home :) also the music always slaps. 10/10”

Twice a year they have a mega sale (pays to stock up then for afikoman or chanukah as the price can go down to 50%) but the prices are always reasonable.Very spacious store you get a really nice shopping experience.It's fin to spend money there.”

Word of advice, look carefully, up, down, behind other items etc. because you will miss a lot of stuff. Usually I go around twice. Prices are pretty decent. You can get jewelry ,silver , little wallets, tops, flowers, figurines, candles incense burners, small wind shines. religious items, Christmas, wedding, anniversary, etc. I just purchased this cute little guy thats in the center of the basket in my pic, the one sitting and the cross. “They were closing in 5 mins as we walked in they let us know but the owner helped us find exactly what we were looking for and with the second request he knew it wasn’t in stock, searched for it online, found the next store, then after leaving (to not be more of a nusence) he came out and found us to tell us and showed us the location, route, and time it’d take. Truly amazing people definitely an amazing collection of different toys as well as cute adult accessories including unique keychains. 10/10 thank you so much”

“Looking forward to checking out this shop soon. I grew up in San Francisco, the OG 826. Some of these negative comments are clearly from people who didn't bother to look up the website or read any of the reviews. The store front is meant to be gimmicky, targeting younger school age children. Though some adults may enjoy it too, depending on your personality. The proceeds support the 826 nonprofit which provides tutoring and literacy programs for children. There are locations throughout the country and each adjoining storefront features a different theme. NYC is superheroes. San Francisco is pirates. Don't know what the other stores are. I visited the one in LA but can't remember its theme anyway, if you're treating this as a normal retail space and expecting dirt cheap prices, you're missing the whole point. Cheers! Be kind to everyone.”

“I switched to have my prescriptions filled by Bay Chemists instead of Duane Reade about a year ago. Everyone there is friendly, knowledgeable and they always have what I need. They work with many types of insurance and go above and beyond explaining the directions to medications etc. The last time I was there to pick up a Z-pack for a respiratory cold, they included 5 free single-use Covid rapid tests in my bag - on the house! I didn't even realize it until I got home and I've been using the tests throughout the fall. I feel very lucky to have this amazing place around the corner, 5 stars isn't enough!”

“This is probably the cutest store in Brooklyn. And I know I'll be back soon. The staff was very friendly and will help if you ask. There were lots of different blind box items as well as figurines and small trinkets. They had a few masks and other wares. Though the store is small, they pack quite a bit of stuff into the space, though strangely spacious. I came in for a sunny angel hipper for my phone (I got the coveted mouse). I really enjoyed checking out the different little kitschy items for pretty good prices. I had to hurry up and get out before I spent way too much. Thanks again, guys. See you soon!”
