“Best fruit store in Greenpoint. They always have the freshest produce that is worth every penny. Everyone who works there is very sweet and helpful. The owners are wonderful. I always get the pre cut papaya, which is always fresh and very sweet. They are the best by far in the neighborhood hands down! .”

“My recent visit to this fruit store left me with a pleasant surprise - the watermelon I purchased was simply delightful! The vibrant green rind hinted at the succulent sweetness hidden within, and I couldn't wait to dig in.Cutting into the watermelon, I was greeted with a burst of freshness and a mouthwatering aroma. The flesh was perfectly ripe, boasting a rich, crimson hue and packed with juiciness. Each bite was a delightful symphony of sweet and slightly tangy flavors, making it a perfect treat for a hot summer day.The texture was spot on - crisp, firm, and not overly grainy. It felt like the fruit had been plucked at the peak of ripeness, ensuring a truly enjoyable eating experience. Plus, the watermelon's seeds were almost non-existent, allowing me to savor every bite without any interruptions. What impressed me the most was its overall freshness and quality. They have certainly chosen their watermelons with care, offering a product that stands out from the rest. It's evident that they prioritize providing their customers with top-notch produce. In conclusion, the watermelon from this fruit store was a delightful treat that exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for a juicy and refreshing watermelon, I highly recommend giving this one a try. Happy fruit shopping!”

“Amy’s has a great selection of fresh produce and fruits, as well as a varied selection of Mexican goods. Being open 24 hrs allows me to get part of my groceries done at any time. The space is small and cramped, but the selection and their business hours means I come back again and again. Staff are also incredibly friendly and helpful.”

“Best and freshest produce in the area. Always stop here first and then get any dry goods they don't carry across the way at royal foods or up the street at key foods. Great selection and always find something new to freshen up my grocery bag”

“I love this place! It's so clean, they have a huge selection of organic and healthy food/products and the staff is so friendly. They also have the best pork chops! Gennaro in the cold/freezer section has helped me so many times. He's seriously always busting his butt working but stops to help me. He is a gem! I live a little far from this place but it's so worth coming to!”

“Clean. Flow of store was good. They have you checking out and space over to side for you to bag your own stuff. Quick and easy. Great variety of products. Even found some shredded chicken that I like.”

“Best grocery store in the neighborhood, produce, organic, specialtyitems and they even have their own fish market. Only four stars because they are not always open when they claim to be; business hours vary from the ones posted.”

“Do support these hardworking people. Benjamin Thomas must have been having a bad day when he wrote his review of this store.Sung and her husband opened this store in 1979 and have been running it themselves ever since. This store is a local staple and should 100% be supported if you live in the neighborhood.Sung is super sweet and so helpful with anything you need, her husband not so much, deal with it. ?????”

“This is a great neighborhood fruit store. The produce is always fresh and they have some great deals and prices you can't beat ! The man that runs the register in the front of the store is very nice and makes you feel welcome in the market. Love having this place so close to home extremely convenient walking distance location for many people in the area because this area is terrible with parking so good to have a store you can just walk too.”

“I love, love, love this produce market! Yes, even though they are remodeling right now, but they will be back sooner or later. In the meantime, K&Y Fruit and Veggie is owned by the same family. It's further down Court Street, and has a verrrry similar assortment and vibe. Anyway, back to the reasons I love this market: Quality is quite high; prices are very reasonable; and it's also nice to have the Asian sauces and condiments in the back, too. In all, a real service to the neighborhood. Could not have higher words of praise for any shop in the area.”

“Quick in, quick out. These guys unload you pretty fast because it's on the street and they need to get you out of there so that you won't be there long blocking the street. It's very tricky getting in with some tight left turns. Be careful you dont hit any cars or light poles.”

“Great selection of fresh produce, spices, dried nuts and stuff, and basics you'd need for cooking. However, don't expect them to have the full selection that nearby Pomegranate has. For me personally, I thought it strange that they carried horseradish and other obscure radishes, but didn't carry cayenne peppers. For herbs, they carry tarragon, but not parsley or basil. There's tons of stuff in the back, but would love if they stocked more Asian inspired ingredients, such as miso paste, etc. Also, would stock flavored seltzer instead of plain seltzer.”

“I’ve been visiting this store regularly, and it has honestly become one of my favorite places to shop. The store is always clean, well organized, and easy to navigate. They keep the shelves stocked with fresh produce, good quality meat, and all the essentials.

What really makes a difference here is the staff everyone is friendly, patient, and always ready to help you find what you’re looking for. Checkout is quick, and the whole atmosphere feels welcoming.

Overall, a great neighborhood store that makes shopping simple and pleasant. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!”

“I've been coming to the store for more than 15 years and I have never been disappointed. They have a very big selection of things; their fruit, vegetables are always fresh and always high-quality. The prices are good compared to all the other stores in this area they're actually pretty much cheaper. I definitely I definitely recommend this store for all your shopping needs.”

“Big, nice and convenient grocery especially if you live within proximity to it like me. I have had good n bad experiences here.I will say. One day There was this one Mexican male cashier who seemingly was sloppy at his job. Didn't charge me for some of the items got there. I am sure it wasn't intentional but he just didn't seem like he even wanted to be there. He only scan 2 to 4 items then just everything in the bag like he didn't even care. The problem to me wasn't the fact that I ended up getting away with some free stuff as a result. I am or was just worried that he would make different mistake that wouldn't be pretty at all. This a while back.Either hes just no longer working as a cashier there or is no longer employed there.I do agree with a comment on here about a language barrier problem I have experienced it at another grocery store tashknet in coney Island avenue which is blocks away. They should work on that issue. I understand that most people working here English is a second language but if your gonna dealing with English speaking customers then you should work on improving English to better serve or just ask for clarification.Wish they would offer meat section where you can buy meat by the lb. Just like tashknet and portakili and maybe more food products to choose from though I understand they are trying to cater more to the Russian and Turkish communities that live a mile or less within this grocery store.I have met the owner. very nice guy.”
