“I have been tight on cash since my unemployment, and I used TooGoodToGo for groceries. The brothers gave me 1 bag of fresh Kale and another bag of groceries, 5 times more than they are supposed to give me for what I paid. They are so nice about it too. This shop represents everything I love about NYC mum and pop shops.

The produces are so fresh, It’s worth walking the extra 20 blocks to get groceries from them.”

“Just saw movers outside the store today, and the guy said the entire building has been sold and the fruit stand won’t be coming back. Needless to say, I’m devastated. A summer afternoon in this neighborhood will never be the same.”

“Last night we were looking for a special bouquet of flowers ? and we bought a few arrangements to put together to make a larger, more beautiful arrangement from this corner market. The owner of this market unwrapped each plastic bag for us, rearranged all the hydrangeas and greenery together and wrapped them in fresh floral paper with so much care. Please support this business.”

“Great prices, but in a messy chaotic store where there are empty boxes lying around the aisle floors and everywhere and the lines are very long. They run out of things quickly.”

“Popped in for a morning coffee early on a Sunday morning, had a nice Bagel and Cream Cheese, good coffee, good service, clean enough inside (for a Dunkin Donuts).”

“I don’t care what you call it; bodega, deli, corner store, but I call it my favorite neighborhood stop. Rohin is always pleasant, no one better than the flower guys, and they had my favorite small-batch dairy ice cream from Rhinebeck!”

“Great quality fruit salad at a fair price (I didn’t try other stuff but sandwiches also looked fresh and tasty). Seems like an ideal fuel stop for park/museum visits.”

“This is a great store to have in the neighborhood. They have well-stocked shelves and you can find just about anything that you might need from a small grocer. Fernando, Amin, and the rest of the team are always friendly and helpful, which makes each visit more enjoyable. Definitely 5-stars from me!”

“This place is amazing! They carry rare/exotic produce, organic produce, all with appropriate pricing! Some things are actually cheaper than Trader Joe’s! You can get things like red currants, gooseberries, lemongrass, rhubarb, tarragon, micro-greens, etc. This is now the only place I shop for avocados! Staff is always sweet and attentive. I always pay in cash and the change is always correct. I say ignore the negative reviews. 10/10, so grateful to have this locally.”

“They carry Dietz and Watson black pepper turkey which i LOVE! Can't find it anywhere else in the city. The store is a little tight but they seem to carry most staples. I didn't check prices. Right above the 6 train exit so very convenient to grab a few things on your way home.”

“It’s great to have a super market that has fresh, new, delicious choices of food. I’ve never taken home any food that was expired or close to it. Simply a great and well kept super market.”

“Lost in the UWS looking for a place to warm up and get a snack, the men of Bazini’s was like an oasis! Being cold and distracted was just the start of the comedy of errors that’s started, all do to manly distracted l, intoxicated mind at 2am. These guys saved my ass, and didn’t blink twice. I’m a Bronxcite residing in Chelsea, but this gem of a store transported me to the markets and bazaars in Africa, and beyond. It’s a maze of endless aisles and product. So, visually stimulating I couldn’t find bananas! I’m be back soon to repay their generosity in my drama, and also get some great content because the stuff on this page doesn’t do this maze of humanity justice! ;)”
