Ideal Food Basket is a primary grocery store for many, often noted as the most affordable option with the best prices for meat in the area. The store is very organized, impeccably clean, and well laid out. The produce and meat section is well organized, with labels that are updated and clear. It is a go-to place for groceries, produce, and the deli, offering good choices from deli to roasted chicken, fruits, and the usual groceries. The staff are generally a lot nicer and more courteous here compared to other markets, with everyone described as polite and pleasant. The store has self-checkout and separate cashiers as well. Some serious improvements have been made, and it is considered one of the few exceptions to a pattern of poor service found elsewhere. However, there are significant criticisms. The pricing of items is less than ideal, with prices often higher than other stores for comparable items, described as price gouging on an extraordinary level. There are also reports of overcharging, with sale items sometimes charged above the listed price. While the best tuna sandwich in the area is noted, some will not purchase milk there, and sometimes cold cuts can be a little off. A notable downfall for some is the lack of sushi. Furthermore, one reviewer expressed a strong dislike for being followed, watched, or stalked by employees or fake shoppers, which made them feel uncomfortable and disrespected while spending their money. This experience contrasts sharply with another reviewer's positive note that no one followed them around the store.
Great update to store but with that cones exorbitant prices especially when compared with the surrounding supermarkets

My primary grocery store, often the most affordable option. They've made some serious improvements, although I personally will not purchase milk there, and sometimes cold cuts can be a lil off, but somehow the best tuna sandwich in the area. I'm there 4+ times a week.
