“Absolutely the Best all my food was shipped. The mozzarella was fresh snd the knots. It was shipped immediately and I got it to VA IN 3 days. Landis is Best in the Business. I will always order from them. TRY IT... YOU'LL LOVE IT!”
“This is hands down the best steak Ive ever had. I eat out multiple times a month at various places all over NJ & NY and this is the best steak Ive ever had. I took home the A5 Japanese wagyu, it was unreal. The prime marinated hangar steak, amazing. The deli counter is out of this world, very decently priced and the food is so fresh and creative. A million different kinds of salads and stuffed peppers along with traditional small Italian dinners like eggplant rollatini. Just go, you will not be disappointed!PS Dont let the guy who answers the phone deter you from going here.”
“I have been using this store for over 10 years. The quality of the products is very excellent, the service is top notch. and they maintain this level throughout the entire time. everything is very well organized. There are no queues even though people are constantly present.”

“Yum! Staying in Brooklyn as a tourist, came by here for a nice pastrami sandwich and the qualify exceeded my expectations. (My skepticism came from letting myself get too hungry before eating) Friendly service was nice during a busy evening.”
“Cute butcher shop that happens to be my go to place where I shop for my bread. Excellent and friendly service. And bread is great of course. Definitely restaurant quality products”

“Great local grocery store! Parking lot is available for a few cars at a time. Not the biggest selection of groceries, but they have every type of paper goods. A ton of sale's every week, but you may have to purchase a minimum or follow other directions to get sale price.”

“Fairly well stocked. Prices are a bit high, especially on their takeout or home made brands. Parking most of the time is very difficult and it's a main reason I don't go there often.”
“The barbacoa is to die for!!! You’ll never buy meats from a grocery store again. Everything is fresh, local, DELICIOUS, and sustainably sourced. They have all sorts of cuts and mixes of pork, beef, chicken, duck, sausages, dried/cured meats, rabbit, and broths. The employees are really friendly too. Just come here - you won’t regret it!”

“We mostly like this new addition and do prefer them over other options in the neighborhood for some cuts of meat. Customer service can be very hit or miss. Some of the staff are consistently friendly whereas our experience with others is that we’re an inconvenience - which isn’t the best energy under which to be buying food! They can also be inconsistent about until when they’ll sell sliced meats. I’m glad they’re here and that I also have other options for the less than optimal times.”
“Best Meat Market in NYC. Take a step back into the wonderful world of the neighborhood butcher. Great customer service. Good quality excellent value. A true neighborhood gem. If you don't go there you will miss outn out ona truly exceptional experience. Incredible prices, fresh meat he actually trims the meat before weighing it. Where do you see that? I wish I could find a place like that here in myNew home of Florida.”
“And all the carribean things u need. Not sure if u need a case of oxtail there's 99$. Went mother's day they only allowed me to buy loose so I went to chef choice and got the cash for 89$.Also they have Coconut carnation milk good for keto.”
“My dad has been taking me here since I was a little girl, They used to have another location (W-Nassau) on 61 St. in Maspeth, we used to go there too. This place is a go-to for their stuffed cabbage and Kielbasa (Krajana has always been our favorite). Whenever we visit family, my dad would bring the stuffed cabbage from here, it’s a family favorite. They also have great deli cuts, I included a photo of a ham I picked up. You can also come here for farmer’s cheese, butter, babka and other sweets, and pantry staples like pickled items, and jarred salads. There’s also seasoning and flour, the exact flour I tried to find in Poland but found it here instead!”
“Been my butcher since they were on Schaefer Street back in the dayWell... to be honest, they were my mothers butcher back then.ALWAYS great Quality meats, Great service , willing to do plans and custom orders!!I love John and Mario!I miss dad so very much!”

“I have been going to B & A pork store for years. The food is the best . The store is very clean. The workers are very nice and fast. The owner is friendly and helpful. They have a large selection of Italian specialties and meats. And of course the food is fresh and delicious. I usually go into the store. But this time I decided to have a delivery. I called on the phone the person who took my order was very nice and took my large order with no problem. When I received my order it was wrapped well and nothing was left out like with some places. The delivery guy came on time and also was very nice. I highly recommendable B & A pork store you won’t be disappointed .‼️?”
“I just want to say: That I’m the driver in question Mustafaa that the person leaving that negative review is speaking of and he is not a customer; our customers know my character and conduct”
“No frills butcher that makes their own sausages and sells a variety of beef, chicken and pork products. Bonus is they make very filling and delicious sandwiches as well.”

“We had the pleasure of serving the Dawn Marie, specialty stuffed veal roast, from Romeo Meats for our Christmas dinner. This beautiful stuffed roast was the centerpiece of our meal. The butcher was kind enough to give us exact cooking directions to ensure the roast came out perfect. We ordered seven ribs for eight adults and the portion size was extremely generous and perfect for our hungry guests. Everyone raved on how delicious and tasty. We look forward to trying another specialty roast for our next holiday. Possibly the Danny Devito!! We highly recommend Romeo Meats for your next holiday or special gathering…. You will be extremely happy.”
“Show respect and respect is always reciprocated. I judged the place by the surroundings but immediately became a regular after the first visit very well kept and a amazing staff”
“The best Polish deli ever. Kielbasa and Golompkis were great but the Pierogies were the best we've ever had. My wife is Polish and they were better than hers. AWESOME JOB !!!”

“Excellent online service! It was easy to navigate the site, and the store was clear on what they had to substitute. Any product that was unavailable was clearly communicated before checkout. Thank you!”
“The diminutive scale of this salumeria notwithstanding (a.k.a. "pork store" or "Italian deli"), the quality and authenticity of its offerings more than make up for the lack of elbow room. This is the real deal and has been my family's go-to for decades . The guys behind the counter are Italians/Italian-Americans that make what they sell, not some hireling in a hat who can't pronounce the Italian names of things, let alone tell you about them. The goldmine here are the pork products made in-house, as befits a pork store. "Artisanal" is the new buzz-word for what these guys have been doing for decades. The fresh sausage comes in links or pinwheels, either "sweet" (i.e. plain) or "hot" (red pepper), or with cheese & parsley, and then with fennel. I always get my links sweet and my pinwheel with cheese & parsley (my own immigrant family eschews fennel, and I'm not sure how it became standard for "Italian" sausage in American supermarkets to have fennel). The sweet and hot sausages also come dried, along with other dried "salami" (hence "salumeria") made from other parts of the pig, such as soppressata or capocollo. In any case, the key to authentic Italian sausage is the quality and grind of the pork, plus the right amount of fat, meaning a goodly lot of good fat. That blend of pork and pork fat, ground coarse, with the right amount of salt and pepper, is what Italian sausage is all about. Now, where quality and balance is decisive, you need an artisan, and Bari pork store is owned and run by lifelong artisans. Of course, like any Italian-American salumeria it is also a "latticeria" that sells milk products, chief among these fresh mozzarella made in house (they also carry high-quality ricotta they bring in). Then there are cold-cuts (cut fresh and right by seasoned hands), and interesting olives, and house-made salads, and some deep-fried delights, and whatnot. It's a place for impulse shopping, and the eye ranges concupiscently across tightly packed shelves. There's are also some high-end fresh meats offered, in the tradition of old-time Italian butchery, and then imported Italian groceries of all sorts. This is the place I get such odd favorites as Italian chamomile tea (so much better!), and good dried porcini, and Italian dark-meat tuna packed in olive oil, odd pasta shapes, good dried legumes (little dark Mediterranean lentils), and of course staples like olive oil and imported Italian "pelati" (canned whole tomatoes), etc., etc., etc. I was worried Bari would not survive the evolution of this old immigrant neighborhood from Italian to new immigrants, but my family still makes the trek from Bay Ridge to Bensonhurst because there is nothing to match it anywhere in between. While I'm there, I also go down to the old bread store on 18th Ave. & 60th St. and the pastry shop on 70th St. for other old time Italian authenticity. Go check out Bari, and say hi to George for me.”
“Very good meat market. Cut your orders to way you want. The chicken wings and and quarter legs are nice small not big like they were injected with something. The beef and pork looks good.”
“The best butcher shop in town! Delicious & high quality meat selection,
and amazing service also. Nini is an awesome guy! Very kind and professional.”
