Tarzian West for Housewares is a super cute neighborhood institution and an enchanting vision of Brooklyn domesticity. It is an amazing store with an incredible and very wide selection of general home goods, featuring everything from Le Creuset cookware and Wusthof knives to no-name items and beautiful napkins. It is a great place for a housewarming gift or to discover quality brands. The staff is consistently noted as the most welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, often going above and beyond to assist customers. The displays are lovely, making browsing a fun experience. However, the store is a thin labyrinth with very narrow and small aisles, which are difficult to navigate and not wheelchair accessible beyond the entrance. It is also considered overpriced by some. Despite the cramped space, it remains a highly recommended store with a classic and amazing collection for the home.

Overpriced,sure, and you may need to diet to navigate it's thin labyrinth without releasing a hail of menon ballers; but it's a neighborhood institution with an incredible selection. An enchanting vision of Brooklyn domesticity.
