The rooms are clean, spacious, quiet, and comfortable with beautiful views, though light sleepers may want to avoid rooms facing the street or on the 12th floor due to potential city noise and the rooftop bar above. The hotel is well-equipped with a bowling alley, a gym, a swimming pool, and multiple bars, including a lively rooftop bar that gets very busy on weekend nights. The WXYZ Bar and other bars offer delicious drinks and a comfortable space to socialize, though some have a strict dress policy. The staff is generally super accommodating and helpful. Safety is good with card key access to hotel floors and ample security in the lobby and bars, though there can be occasional security concerns like tampering with door readers. The hotel is pet-friendly. Parking is available for an extra fee. The overall vibe attracts a younger crowd and can be very lively, especially on weekends with a busy bar scene. The hotel receives high recommendations for a nice visit to downtown Buffalo.
