My experience was excellent. The staff was friendly and professional. The whole experience went smoothly and was easier than I expected. Highly recommend checking them out if you’re looking to sell your vehicle.

Lucky is fantastic. Makes the entire experience enjoyable, and actually fun!If she isn’t already, make her a manager, it would be an injustice otherwise!

The process working to find the car and ship it to near my home using the CarMax website tools was very user friendly and the team was helpful. The car selected was in great condition and prepared by the Buffalo store very well. The pick up process was a more time consuming than I believe needed, but not really a problem. I had never bought a used car before, but my experience so far just beyond my 30 days has been pleasant. I would consider doing it again through CarMax! Good job!

The only place I have purchased a car for last 20 yrs. Between myself, family, and friends we have put a salesman or two into the president club there. I love their extended warranty. Fairly priced and have only had to use it once. First and only place I consider…staff is helpful prices are set and the salesman gets same commission if he sells a 15k or a 80k vehicle so no pressure.

Go here if you want your time wasted and get absurdly low trade evaluations. I would of been better off jumping off a bridge, then dealing with a bigger group of incompetent and soft knit wits.

0 stars isn't available. This place is a joke. They will keep requesting the same info over and over and run ur credit multiple times when it's not necessary, very unprofessional customer service. Don't properly inspect cars before selling them. You are just a number at this place. Avoid. Everything I've said on here is true and I can prove it with my message log.

So I bought a great car but it was used I drove out of state come to find out all 4 of my tires were cracked and bad, had a flat , I talked to carmax in Myrtle beach and they replaced all four of my tires absolutely free, even though I bought my car in Buffalo by they still honored the warranty here down in Myrtle beach. Pretty good

If you have to get any work done in the 90 days or if you sign up for the dumb * car max program * they will make it hellish to fix your car. They left us without a rental for 4 days and with tons of work to be done on our car.. oil change. I do not trust this place! We are paying a gross amount for the extra service and every car has a 90 day warranty just dumb our experience

What started as a great experience became awful at the end of the transaction. Carmax gave me a fairly decent quote(at least, relatively). I sold my suv to them. When I dropped off my car, I approached the front desk, I was asked to wait either in the waiting area or in my car. I chose to go to my car. When I got to my car, I couldnt find my key fobs. I was certain I had them in my hands when I approached the lady on the front desk. I of course went to the front desk to look for it. The front desk lady confirmed that she saw me with the key fobs. The distance between my car and the front desk was less than 1000 ft. I didn’t go anywhere else besides the front desk and my car. To cut the long story short, I couldn’t find my key fobs and they couldn’t find it either. One thing I was sure of is that the key got lost at Carmax. I am convinced I dropped it at the front desk. The manager claimed he checked the camera but didn’t see me with a key. I asked him to look at the parking lot camera as well, he claimed there were no cameras outside(hard to believe). They said they wouldn’t pay for my car without key fobs(key fobs that I apparently showed up with but got lost on their property). I already bought another vehicle, so I really needed to sell the old vehicle at that point. I had no choice but to call a locksmith to create another key fob, which cost me another $400.I am certain that someone at Carmax inadvertently placed my key fobs somewhere in that facility because there’s no other reasonable conclusion. While Carmax owes me nothing, good faith dealing would be them covering the cost for the new key fob, however, at the end of the day, they are just like any other business that would choose profit over good will and people.Besides the key fob saga, it was a seamless transaction.

I was delighted to receive an amazing offer that allowed me to get my car of choice at a price I can afford. The entire experience took an hour . The staff were all so friendly and helpful.

I contacted Carmax online. I filled out their appraisal to sell them my vehicle and received a prompt answer. I had a couple of options so I waited until I knew what I wanted to do. You have a week to accept their offer and I did at 5 days. That gave me 2 days to bring it in. So, I submitted all forms asked of me so that when I arrived at the location most of what they would need would already be completed. I was told they had to verify my information and I would be contacted for an appointment within 24 hours. When I didn't hear back I called and was told they have my info and someone would contact me soon. 4 days later, nothing. Now, when I contact them I was told the offer expired. I said it expired because no one followed up. This is unbelievable to me since this is their one job. Now, I will go back to a more reliable way of selling/trading in a vehicle: a dealer.
