It's a car rental place, and no complaints. And it's cheaper than the airport. But one suggestion I'd like to make, the people at the counter need to start putting phone calls on hold while they attend to people at the front desk. During both my pickup and drop-off, the agent stopped in the middle of conversations with people at the counter to answer the phone, and proceeded to complete an entire transaction with the caller before continuing with the person at the counter. To be honest, I found it irritating. They really should consider alternating between the counter and the phone, so they finish complete transactions with one or the other as they come.

Hertz-Charged my card $140 for a no call no show fee & I came & showed up already…… I told the worker to cancel it. & they still charged my card & when did hertz start charging a no call no show fee?? Either way yall are getting rid of them cars……smh, something to get more money from ppl smh
Dollar-Careless worker, gave somebody else my car right in front of my face. Couldn’t explain why, just kept saying he apologized, just for him to not have anymore cars, after he gave my car away. So I had to go to another rental spot & pay MORE MONEY before I can go out of town… even though MY RENTAL WAS PAID FOR AT DOLLAR , only thing I needed was my driver license & credit card WHICH I DID HAVE.

Understaffed, unprofessional, and needs better management. The store manager was hard to reach as she was at another store. I made and paid for my rental car reservation, then caught an uber there to only find out they have no cars and won’t have any. They could have easily noted that on the site to prevent customers from putting in there credit card number, get charged only to find out there are no available cars. The store manager should have a direct line of contact not for an associate to call her and hand me the phone. Once again very unprofessional. The associate was working so fast vacuuming out cars answering the phone, and telling customers lies. He was overworked and could have used the assistance of another associate as he was the only man one at the establishment. I do not reccommend this Hertz to anyone or hertz in general for that matter. Please get staffed right and be present at your place of business. For that young associate to be running that location all by himself was crazy.

After I rented the car, the cost of the rental was immediately deducted from my bank account and a few days later the amount of the rental went back into my account (credited to it) throwing my finances off.
I extended the cost of rental because I needed the car, and again, Hertz deducted the cost of the rental and a few days later, it went back into my account, further complicating my monthly budget.
I also was unable to speak with a live operator at Hertz, and for a multi-billion dollar corporation, this is inexcusable.
The email that I sent to Hertz that took four days to answer also did not give me any clear answers.
To be fair, the car that I rented was good and the customer service agent (at the Sheridan Drive Buffalo location) was very professional and helpful, but the grief that I had to go through with my bank account was totally avoidable and if and when I need a car again, I will not rent from Hertz-Just the lack of being able to speak with a live operator is a deal breaker.

The guy at the counter was friendly, however the car was dirty on the inside and outside. The reason I am giving them a 1 is because of my return experience. I followed the return instructions for after hours drop off and have yet to get a receipt for my rental. I was charged 2 additional times and I have yet to get my refund. I’ve called the location on Sheridan Rd several times and no one has answered for the past 2 days. Hertz customer service line is a joke, you wait for over an hour and the only thing they can do is email the location. I even called the body shop next to the hertz and they told me they have no idea what is going on. They said the location is having issues. I will never rent from Hertz again.

The staff at pickup and drop off were all very friendly and helpful especially as it was my first time renting. Jackson at my drop off gave exceptional customer service, even with many people waiting and he was the only one there. I will definitely be back for future rental needs ❤️

Reserved a car online for pickup at 430pm on Thursday to head out of town only to get there and be told they have no cars available.... nothing... When I asked why would it allow me to make a reservation, they said they systems tracks for all of WNYnot just that location, which is ridiculous and terrible customer service.
Now I am fighting to get my deposit back$60 and have them remove a $32 no show fee from my card. Really disappointed and will never recommend this location to anyone and we do alot of business meetings in town.

Customer service was very rude. They allow bookings and the site shows availability while they do not have any available. Take your business to a different company. It is not only this location.

I had my rental set up through my insurance and have been trying to call the Sheridan location and they NEVER answer the phone. I've already gone there one with this reservation and there were no available cars, now I'm calling to make sure I don't waste another trip and they don't answer the phone. I'm calling corporate!
