Made a reservation one day in advance, arrived to Pearl St. location on Saturday only to be told that my license is on their black list and they cannot rent me a car. Called Hertz rental suspensions department next Monday (naturally, they are closed on weekends) and was told that my license is NOT on their suspensions list. Seriously? You made me change my plans because your employees cannot read numbers? Will never rent from Hertz again.

Hertz rental are thieves they debted my account on Wednesday then waited to Friday and basically left me without money for food medicine or anything else rip offs

Booked a reservation on the hertz app. Ubered to the location, upon arrival was advised they don’t have a vehicle. This is the second hertz location that I have experienced this. Good luck with hertz support. Don’t rent from this company

Jaylin & Josh were phenomenal! I came in from Pittsburgh and was highly dissatisfied with the rental that I got in Pittsburgh so Jaylin immediately accommodated me with a cleaner rental. He made the process smooth, easy, and quick!

They do not answer the phone at all you have to waste money just to go to their location to ask a question that could’ve been answered over the phone

Absolute garbage service. Calling multiple times for days, no one EVER answers the phone. If they're too busy, at least answer and tell customers to hold while you assist customers in the lobby. I have never experienced a rental location ever being too busy to answer their phone.You need to call Hertz and speak to a representative in their call center if you need to modify / confirm reservation information.Hands down the WORST rental location I have ever used in multiple US states, and in multiple countries

Terrible! I had a reservation for an electrical vehicle to drive Uber, and I called all afternoon to confirm the reservation. They NEVER answer the phone. I took the bus there to pick up the EV. When I got there no one was there, and there was a sign on the door saying they were gone. Someone arrived after about 10 minutes of waiting. I was told they didn't have any Uber vehicle's left, and that they didn't answer the phone all day because they were "too busy." I guess answering the phone to communicate with customers and confirm reservations is not important. From my experience, though, NONE of the local Hertz locations answer the phone.

Hertz on pearl street Downtown Buffalo,the slogan should read, come rent a car from us, we will treat you like trash....For two days I was Treated like trash... There was two employees, The female employee was in the back texting on my phone,and the young man was behind the computer trying to get customers out...At no time did the gril in the back come try to help anyone.. there was 5 customers waiting and complaining about the wait.. it was my ture to be seen.So the young man got my information and told me my car will be out shortly. When the car got out it was dirty inside and out. Find I took the car to a car wash.After the car wash I noticed that the car was not running right, so I Went back to hertz. The gril in the back came to me and I explained to her what I felt, she then said to me we have no more cars., you can Leave without a car or take it home and come back tomorrow, we will have a car for you.So I came back the next day got the same run around. So I asked to speak to a supervisor, was told no supervisor available for two weeks. Asked for a refund, was told that only the supervisor can do that. So I called my bank to put stop payment. Now waiting to Resolve this situation..All the 1 800 #are unhelpful... just a waiting game now.. this place should be shut down Permanently.

I rented a car for two days drop the car back off and drop the key in the drop box by the front door because I had a 6 am flight. A week went by then I start receiving calls that they don't have the car. It's been impossible to speak with someone at this location and they're still charging my credit card.

These people never answer the local phone. It's impossible to not waste your time with them. If you make a reservation you'd expect there to be vehicles available. They obviously are working with customers privately when you go into the office, people return cars in front of you and they still won't offer a vehicle. Bad experiences every time. They need to improve their computer inventory system if that is the issue with allowing reservations after having no cars In.

I ended up getting a ride here because the Hertz at Buffalo airport was a complete disaster with a 3 and 1/2 hour wait... The guys working at this place on Pearl Street were super accommodating and friendly... Good experience overall very easy to walk right in and pick up a car with no wait and they were able to arrange for the drop off of the rental at the airport...
