“Spent a great evening at dinner at Russell's, then overnight at the hotel. Rooms are immaculate and have all the amenities you need. Hotel is clean and rooms include a wonderful hot breakfast along with cereal, fruit, yogurt, etc. Nice getaway for myself and boyfriend.”
“Visiting on a business trip, during our visit there was no water due to an issue out of their control. Even without water, the manager was nice, made sure we had everything we needed during our stay.”

“My fiancé and I stayed here for one night and had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, everyone—from the front desk to housekeeping—was incredibly kind and welcoming.
The highlight of our stay was the famous outdoor hot spring, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The water was at least 100 degrees, which was mind-blowing considering it was only 2 degrees outside. Having plenty of towels and complimentary water bottles available in the hot springs area was a thoughtful and appreciated touch.
We had dinner at Chez Ami, where our waiter David was outstanding, and the food was just as impressive. Later, we enjoyed a nightcap at the rooftop bar, which was the perfect way to end the evening.
Our room—and the entire hotel—was impeccably clean and absolutely beautiful in every area. We also loved the unique, slowly rotating bar next to the lobby; such a cool feature.
We will definitely be back.”
“Where do I begin? "Is it possible to steam her gown?" And then it showed up in our closet. Class, style, ambience, luxury, it all applies. The best French toast I ever had, with perfect fruit salad. Every single staff member was helpful and engaged. We felt like royalty.”

“We had a memorable time at this venue. Plenty of space with two rooms for Very nice appetizers and drinks while we waited for the bride and groom. Appetizers were fresh plentiful & interesting variety. Wait staff walked around with different appetizers. Tables full of cheese crackers fresh fruits perfectly arranged and very tasty.
The main course was outstanding the salad was a picture perfect. Tasty cold romaine lettuce drizzle with a wonderful dressing, Parmesan crisp and shaving of Parmesan outstanding. Main course was lemon chicken filet mignon wonderful interesting potatoes. It was like a scalloped potato pie with a interesting puff pastry crust, it was yummy. Fresh vegetables crispy yet tender. The room was magical. I highly recommend this place.
We did not use the hotel.”

“I was at Aloft Buffalo Downtown for Roswell's Cancerchella. The hotel was very accommodating, fun, and very comfortable. Their bowling alley was a lot of fun and the XYZBar had great drinks and was very comfortable to socialize in. It gets very busy Friday and Saturday nights with the rooftop bar judging by the line of people waiting for the elevator up. The staff did well to work around some of the rude and pushy customers. I highly recommend staying at this hotel for a nice visit in downtown Buffalo!Rooms: The rooms are fun, trendy, and in my opinion a little nicer than your average affordable hotel. My room was on the 12th floor and had a beautiful view of Buffalo and Lake Erie. The bathrooms and showers were nice and spacious. There wasn't really much for a dresser but instead a place to put your luggage with a couple of small drawers underneath. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were quiet at night. There was also a small table and some seating in the room.Safety: I felt pretty safe at this hotel. You need card key access to get to the hotel floors via elevator. However when I left my room this morning someone had attempted to tamper with the card reader to my door, and the cover was off of it and laying on the ground. My door was deadbolt though so I didn't have to worry about someone breaking in. A few other doors had this happen to on our floor, so i just notified front staff when I checked out. There was ample security in the lobby and the bars, and I felt completely safe during my stay!Walkability: This hotel is very walkable where it's located in downtown buffalo. There are plenty of things to do within walking distance, including the theatre district.Food & drinks: The food catered for our Cancerchella event was fantastic! The drinks at any of the bars were delicious and typical pricing.”
“I was there for an event: it's a nice event space. During the summer it has a Resurgence bar. Their catering for our event went over well with the attendees.”

“I’ve lived here almost 6 years and love it! It’s mostly apartments with some hotel rooms — the weather was a disaster today and my toilet still got fixed — very friendly staff and very friendly neighbors most of whom have been around years as well which is just telling to how great an environment it is, I’d highly recommend staying here as a hotel guest or moving in as a resident”

“Fantastic rooms which are very quirky. Rooms smelt a bit musty when we first walked through the door but quickly disappeared. Location seems a little out the way but a 10 minute walk got to where the restaurant and bars are.”

“Without spending an absolute fortune on a room that you're probably only going to be in for a few hours before your flight from buffalo airport, this hotel has just what you need. Comfortable beds, very clean, airport shuttle and a McDonalds just across the lot to grab your coffee. Just a note that renovations were being done at this time so no complimentary breakfast was available.”
“Fantastic Inn! Many thoughtful details (self serve snacks and drinks available all day and night) plus the most amazing blueberry lemon scones for breakfast. Nice linens, historic building, great location where you can walk to the fun Elmwood shopping and restaurants.”
