“Anthony and the entire crew do a great job with PRIME meat at a very reasonable price for quality mix. The homemade sides, additional fresh produce and products, as well as marinated specialities have made this a '1 stop for a great dinner' local artisanal stop. Also, the BEST sausage, both chicken and pork, around. Love these guys.”
“Kings Park Meats is a fantastic multi-generational butcher that sells great quality meats and has an exceptionally friendly staff. It’s worth going out of your way to shop here.”
“Lenny and his family are tremendous. Excellent butcher, whether you need a shirt steak or pork tenderloin, it is always cut right. They are very helpful. Highly recommend Babylon Meat Market.”
“I am new in town and was so happy to find this amazing business! Great meat. Exceptional service. I love a family owned business and my family loved the feast! I’ll be back soon.”
“Where to begin with this place … it’s a knock out … I’m probably known as the burger lady at this point but Scott and his team do a fabulous job… I’m never alone when I’m in there place always has happy customers comming in and out and it’s always clean and spotless in the meat cases … In a world full of Costco and Walmart support local … this place is the superhero of many dinner tables in Commack … keep up the great job guys !!! : )”
“I was here today and really liked it. My pictures do not do it justice. It has almost everything from fresh natural fruit juices to everything you need to make a nice healthy meal. I knew of this store when it was a small shed years ago and surprised at the rapid growth to a huge family-like center. Kudos to the owners. They take good care of their customers. Everyone so nice and helpful. Definitely a go to for fresh produce and meat variety.”

“Chubs catered my party, we went with the package for 50 people. Food was delivered on time, hot, & delicious! Quantities & quality did not disappoint - highly recommend them for your catering needs.
Also picked up a hero for lunch a few days prior to the party. Massive portion & delicious!”
“Best butcher shop around! We always really enjoy the steaks we get from here and recently tried the marinated ones which are really good as well. I have to say I was surprised with how much I enjoyed their lasagna and eggplant rollatini. Everything at this place has been a hit. The staff is always pleasant and helpful with recommendations.”
“High-quality products with friendly staff. Also carry odds and ends such as french fries and seasonings. Old-school type of service - asked for a product, they didn't have it and they recommended another place I could get it. Not often that a store will do it.”
“All the food is super fresh and they have the best mozz in town, hands down. People are super friendly and the store is clean and extremely well kept. My only gripe is the wait-I often drop in for one or two small items, and get stuck there for 15-20 minutes-I've actually walked out a couple times, because I simply couldn't stay any longer. It's still my go-to spot!”
“Excellent $10 lunch special deal with a fat sandwich, bag of chips and a soda. High quality meats, great steaks, Delicious ready to heat and eat swedish meatballs and sometimes heat and eat brisket. Nice family run business. Recommended and will repeat.”
“Best market in the LGBT villages. Sure, prices are high so it makes sense, if you can, to bring non- perishable provisions. But if you don’t want to subsist on Kraft Mac & Cheese and Dinty Moore canned beef stew, then Pines Pantry is a treat. Though not as comprehensive as a mainline supermarket quality is usually very good and they feature a bakery with tasty croissants. It was worth walking with the gorilla wagon (inflatable moon buggy wheels recommended for the few open sand stretches) from our cabin near Sailors Haven and through Cherry Grove and no-man’s land to the Pines. Prices at the market in Cherry Grove are a bit lower but they don’t usually have the selection that Pines Pantry has.”

“Best butcher in town. Everyone is helpful and friendly. Followed butcher's advice for cooking and roast was perfect. Butcher cut back bone before tying prime rib, which made carving a breeze.”
“This the best supermarket in the area by far. I spoke with the manger Grant today after seeing them power washing the shopping carts. Grant told me they do this once a week. It’s the cleanest and fare priced supermarket in the area. I’m also a big fan of them hiring high school kids to work the afternoon shift.”
“They have good produce and a good deli department, but their meat department is lacking and that their ground beef looks terrible every day they probably re-grind yesterday‘s meat with new meat to try to make it look better and it never works that way.”
“I love Giuntas cold cuts and baked bread... I like their produce and sometimes the clearance section stuff. Unfortunately, some items are more expensive than the "Big" supermarkets... but depending on what you go there for, you can't find better anywhere else.”
“The gentleman at the meat department are very nice. About 2 weeks ago, I asked about pork loin to make pulled pork and they didn't have much on display. Even though this person was extremely busy, I interrupted him nicely and he made me the most beautiful pork loin. I can't recall if it was 3 lbs but it was under $10!! The one I was going to choose was 5 lb. It had a lot of fat on it and it was $22 and it was lesser quality of pork. I wish I asked for his name. Because I wanted to thank him for his excellent service.”
“We loved the old fashioned more for for your buck treatment. Their meat pkg deals are generous, its enough to last the month. Huge saving compared to supermarkets.”
