“I literally used to live next door to this USPS and went several times a week. Best USPS I've ever been to.
Customer service is always incredible - I frequently had to check the weight for things I was shipping and the staff here were always super patient with me!!
I also frequently had questions about sending different types of packages and loved that they gave me suggestions on the best shipping rates (for example, using priority boxes or flat rate boxes in some cases for better pricing). Even the substitute staff were awesome when routine staff weren't there -I got a DIY tip on making my own boxes once which was fun.
Lines are rarely long (sometimes it gets busy but usually not when I've gone - the longest line I've had to wait in had 3-4 people in front of me, but often I'd go right up to the counter).
Tons of parking around on the street or in The Rise apartments parking lot.

You really don’t come across great customer service anymore these days, especially In places like the post Office, where people are just trying to get through their day. What a pleasure it was to walk in here on a Thursday afternoon, and be greeted by such a pleasant smile and helpful demeanor. Carlos is the epitome of a someone that can truly change someone’s day around just by being kind and helpful. Someone that goes above and beyond, just because. “My favorite local post office. Usually not too busy, I go here a lot. I like it better than downtown because there is a parking lot and (usually) shorter lines. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is small but it's very convenient for anyone in the Lansingburgh area.”
“I would like to commend a woman named ‘Kim’ for helping me this morning on the phone. Since early June when I submitted my request for a transfer of ‘temporary’ mail thru what I thought was USPS.com, to my daughter’s in MA, I first wound up unknowingly on a scam site, which charged my crcd $99.95, took about 5 weeks to get my $ back, tried in vain to correct my mail delivery as it wound up to be ‘permanent’. Finally today, I got real help, I am forever grateful for this employee. “I needed help yesterday because my parcel had been delivered to a supermarket mailbox but the supermarket staff and I did not seem to understand one another.I was confused between us until I reached USPS. The lady at the counter was able to help me a quick solution by contacted a right person. Then I was given a parcel by a gentleman after he drove to the supermarket. It was a pleasure to work with them and I really appreciated their kindness.”
“I visited this post office recently. It was in the afternoon, the weather was beautiful, and I just had to write this review due to the incredible customer service I received. Sue was extremely helpful, kind and went out of her way to answer my questions and help me understand what I needed to get my packages delivered. Personally I would not be happy if I were stuck inside on such a nice day but she had such a gracious demeanor while going about helping customers that I wanted to leave a review. Hossain who was working with her was also helpful and I am so thankful for their hard work. I am also thankful for the extended hours at this location (open Saturdays late and also on Sundays), which they make possible, and hope they are not taken for granted, and that they get recognized for what they do.”
“I really have nothing bad to say about this post office, even if I tried, which I think many people do, just because of the stigma the phrase "US Post Office" is commonly associated with. I get it. I've been to plenty Post Offices in my life to feel the same. This place, however, really is different, and special. Why? Well, maybe for me because it is hidden in a popular strip mall just minutes from my work. That means not only can I take care of postal stuff quickly at lunch, I can also grab a bite and still be in time for my 1:00pm meeting. Also, I don't know if it is because of the location, or that people just don't mail stuff any more these days, but there is hardly ever a line.It is a tiny spot, not like the Post Offices in Down Town Albany, but it still has everything, and the Postal Workers at the counter are always pleasant. My favorite thing about this post office, is that they are open Saturday until 5pm. That is always nice when I need to take care of some mailings on the weekend. You won't find many other post offices open all day Saturday, which leads me to believe many more people appreciate and use this location. And, like I said, if going on a Saturday, I always pick a nice place to eat in the plaza, which has many.”
“I went to this post office located in the Empire State Plaza concourse on 01/02 around 1:30 pm. The employee Justin is really nice, helpful and answered all my questions with patience. I had a number of questions related to priority mail service, and different sizes of priority mail boxes they have at this location, and Justin is really knowledgeable, professional and excellent! I would definitely go back to this post office if I need help with any other questions or if I need to send out any package.”
“Darryl ? I think that was his name in the voicemail he left me. The Postmaster. I had a lost package in the mail that contained a very expensive item. It got “lost” at the Brooklyn post office. Although I missed his call, Darryl made contact with the Brooklyn office to locate my package. I eventually received the package after a week or so after he contacted me. Also, I never contacted this post office directly. I made an online inquiry and they must have forwarded it to the appropriate office. Thanks so much Darryl !”
