“I absolutely love Dalila’s Pet Grooming! Even though I live far away, I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my dog. They are true animal lovers—kind, responsible, and always so gentle with my pup. I trust them 100% and always leave knowing my dog is in the best hands.”
“Our dog loves this shop!! Whenever we walk down Ditmars, he wants to go inside. Sometimes we walk down Ditmars past the Regal Beagle's closing time, and he sits outside of the shop patiently waiting to go inside because he doesn't want to believe it's closed. The owners are lovely, kind, and welcoming. If we have a question or concern, they are always happy to help! They have two cats who roam around the store and budgies in their cages so it gives it a homey feeling. They have pictures of dogs from the neighborhood on their walls.
Besides the toys, treats, and accessories they sell, they have a backyard for our furry friends to play. In the backyard is a hose, dog toys, and a bathtub for the dogs to play. They also have chairs for the humans to relax.
I highly recommend the Regal Beagle if you are a pet owner! Thank you Regal Beagle for putting a smile on our dog's face!! :)”
“We love Pet Club! It's conveniently located on Steinway within walking distance from our apartment, and they have everything we need for our new puppy. I appreciate all the high-quality and healthy items they keep in stock here. We haven't had a dog in years, and I had all the questions... I've been in the store multiple times over the last 1.5 weeks. The staff members here are always super helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Today, they helped me find these no-rawhide chews for our pup. He absolutely loves them, and it's saving our toes, pant legs, shoes... Also a plus, they have a point system with Square so you can earn rewards over time ^_^”

“Brooklyn Tails is one of my favorite stops as a dog walker. I bring my pack by and Johnny, the owner, is always there with treats and a smile. The dogs love him—it’s honestly one of the highlights of our route.
The store has a great selection for both cats and dogs (I’ve got two cats at home), and Johnny’s always happy to help if I need something specific. Super friendly, super knowledgeable, and just a great neighborhood spot. You can tell he genuinely cares about animals and his customers.

“One of the best places to get your pet food. Prices are reasonable. Only issue I have is that they don't carry some of the items I buy from Petco. I wish they can carry Nulo brand of cat food and Sustainably Yours brand of cat litter. If they have those, then it'll be a one stop shop for me.”
“Mo and his dad make this spot a true neighborhood gem! I'm in here a few times a week, sometimes even when I don't need anything, simply because my dogs absolutely refuse to walk down Manhattan Ave without stopping in to say hello and get a treat from Mo. they literally sit down on the sidewalk and won't budge until I give in and cross the street. Both Mo and his dad are super helpful, especially for people like me who have never had a puppy before and need all the tips on important ingredients for puppy food, how to manage his insane shedding (furminator!), and most importantly, the apple cider vinegar anti-chew spray they recommended when I told them about Leo's love of chewing my work heels--their guidance saved my sanity and my shoes. Also when the vet told me to get a product for Leo's ear infection and they didn't have it, Mo ordered it for me and it was there in two days.”

“My puppy was purchased from Silver Nickel Puppies from it's previous owner and rehomed to me. I had a few questions being a new fur baby mom and decided to call the store. I spoke to Sal who was amazingly welcoming and helpful; he answered ALL my questions. He gave me amazing recommendations on how to properly train my puppy. What I loved the most, is he remembered my puppy and he truly cared for my puppies' happiness.I would highly recommend purchasing your puppy from here. “Was recommended this place by a friend and it was delicious! Loved my French toast and the lavender mimosa was a nice hit of booze that I wasn't sure would work but did very nicely. Katie was our main server and she was adorable - we traded pet stories and she was super fast with everything. She even modified a dog dish for human consumption (which was a hilarious conversation) and didn't blink. Will be making my way back there for sure.”

“I was greeted with a staff member dance challenge which I engaged and it left me with a smile and happiness. As a person of color when entering certain spaces there is an innate tension that ‘this will be THAT day’, so having a welcoming staff eliminates that concern and makes shopping an enjoyable experience. Perhaps sharing a love of pets helps remind people to lead in kindness. My Grandpupee’ (pu-pay) Huey was the recipient of those feelings with a much more generous budget.

“I occasionally walk into pet stores anytime i see one or anytime I pass by but this store was by far the best one I have ever seen. The vibes were immaculate especially with Jalae. She makes sure every single person the store is having the time of their life including their pets. Jalae is an exceptional and amazing person. She lights up the atmosphere in the split of a second and I love how knowledgeable and informative she is on pet supplies. Anyway, I bought a vibrating gecko toy for my cat and I know he will love it. Will be back again for sure. PS Crystal the lil frenchie is also an amazing cashier.”

“I visited Bushwick Bark because the were hosting a cat adoption event, which means I went in with a very positive feeling about the business even before I entered. So, trying my best to be objective, I can report they have a great selection of toys, displayed such that it's easy to find something if you know what you want and also fun to browse if you haven't yet decided what you want for your pet. The store is small, but they have been smart with using space so you don't feel cramped even though there is a lot of inventory on display Add to all that a friendly and attentive staff, and Bushwick Bark does deserve a five-star review.”
