A little older than the average newlyweds, and with extremely busy careers, we made the absolute best choice and have zero regrets. As wine lovers who live in NY, we thought a winery on Long Island would be close enough to home and most inclusive of our close friends and family.
I knew I didn't want to host a reception at a stuffy catering hall that churns out cookie cutter weddings like a factory. Meadowlark is unique in every way-- gorgeous and classy, and there's even a wine cellar for the after party. Literally every corner of the property is perfect for wedding photos. We visited on July 4th and had the best time and were immediately sold. No other winery on LI comes close. Take my word for it, because I've visited them all.
Location and aesthetics aside, Jennifer was outstanding in every way. We didn't hire a planner or day of coordinator and she filled both roles seamlessly. Over the past six or so months, Jennifer got to know us personally and brought all of my random Pinterest posts to life while sparing me the need to make a ton of minute decisions. From the serpentine table layout, linens, catering choices and coordination of vendors, she was meticulous and it showed. The trust my husband and I have for her was invaluable to us, especially considering our busy lives. Jennifer's vendor recommendations were also spot on. No exaggeration, every vendor who's worked with Meadowlark raved about Jennifer as if they'd known her their whole lives.
The day of was perfect. Nothing was overlooked or felt stressful; we fully trusted Jennifer's coordination and management of everything and she really delivered. While Meadowlark is a stunning property and I'd choose it over and over again if I could, Jennifer is truly what makes it an exceptional wedding venue.

Suhru & Lieb Vineyards
13050 Oregon Rd, CutchogueWe can’t say enough great things about Suhru LIEB Wines! We arrived at 11:00 a.m. on a Monday because Google listed them as open, but they actually weren’t quite open yet. After travelling three hours, we were disappointed. My daughter who lives and works the imdustry wanted to start our day there and told me that was her number one pick because she knew they had a sparkling that woudl be the perfext start. She was hoping to get to 3 or 4 wineries but if she could go to only one, Suhru and Lieb was it! Zach couldn’t have been more accommodating and gracious.
Even though they weren’t officially open, Zach welcomed us in, invited us to stay, and treated us like valued guests from the moment we arrived. His hospitality truly set the tone for our entire day. He was attentive, incredibly knowledgeable about the wines, and made us feel right at home.
We specifically came looking for a small, non-commercialized feeling winerry with exceptional wines, and Subru LIEB exceeded every expectation. The wines were outstanding, and the intimate atmosphere was exactly what we had hoped to find. Even though it was a hot day, the outdoor seating under the sail awning, was very comfortable and we enjoyed beautiful breeze brought by being on an island, overlooking a farm.
Zach also recommended that we visit McCall Wines next, and that recommendation was spot on. We absolutely loved its charming rustic, Western-inspired vibe, and it became another highlight of our trip. So if you end up likimg Suhru And Lieb, i highly recommend you go to Mccall as well.
Honestly, after the five-star treatment we received at Suhru LIEB, the rest of our wine tour had a tough act to follow. No other winery we visited that day matched the warmth, personal attention, and overall experience we had there, but Mccall was a close second.
If you’re looking for amazing wines and genuine hospitality, Suhru LIEB is a must-visit. Thank you, Zach, for making our day unforgettable. We’ll absolutely be back!

McCall Wines
22600 NY-25, CutchogueBurger night is a must at this winery. We went the first Friday of October and it was perfect and pretty popular! No problem getting a table. We had a glass of Ben's Blend and a glass of the Reserve Pinot Noir to pair with our burgers- both were delicious! The Pinot was maybe more cherry. Sadly they ran out of chocolate chip cookies the night we were there
