Life is Grruff
120 Main St, GreenportThis was my first grooming experience at Harbor Pet. Brought my Poodle/Lagooto mix here for a summer cut. He's very afraid of haircuts and has fears being separated from me. Grooming is a traumatic experience. They were attentive and caring when I dropped him off, careful to be sure he was not stressed. I picked him up a couple hours later he was happy, unstressed and cheerful ! Usually he'll pull to run out of the groomer and will pull away anytime we are within a block's proximity. We stayed around the for a bit to chat with no problem. We've dropped by a few times afterwards and he's totally comfortable. So happy for this good experience. AND the haircut was great too!!!!

Nookies
1400 Silvermere Rd, GreenportBest restaurant in the North Fork. Nookies delights year round with imaginative yet unpretentious fare in a cozy former diner on the grounds of the Silver Sands Motel. The chefs lean into the region's stellar local produce right down to the sweet and grassy snap pea martini. You can't go wrong with the seasonal veggie starters, pristine crudo and oysters, house made focaccia and tender pork cheeks or a bronzed roast chicken. Or sit at the counter to preview their menu choices being prepared in a convivial open kitchen.

First and South Restaurant & Bar
100 South St, GreenportWent here on July 3 and was about 10 minutes late for my reservation due to the ferry but they were so accommodating!
They made sure that we sat in the air conditioning which was such a relief considering the humidity was horrible.
There was 2 of us and he ordered the steak dinner which was alright, nothing to write home about it. I thought their other dishes were phenomenal. Let me explain…
We got a Caesar salad as the appetizer which was covered in freshly grated Parmesan and so fresh.
The salad could have used more dressing (or I could have just asked for it) but I was saving my appetite for my main course…
We ordered gluten free Mac and cheese which was amazing! It was so nice to see a restaurant make sure it’s not just an crappy substitute as they even topped it in GF breadcrumbs. I ordered the fluke dinner special that was caught local and AMAZING!!
Drinks were great, we got an espresso martini and Hugo spritz. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Overall — 10/10 experience!

Pip's Cafe & Provisions
218 Main St, GreenportWe worked with Pip's to cater brunch for the day after our wedding. Their food was such a hit with our guests and their team was amazing in executing things seamlessly. We loved working with the Pip's team and are so grateful they could cater such a delicious brunch for our guests. Anytime we're out on the North Fork going forward, we'll be showing up at the cafe for an iced coffee, their killer biscuits and the best yogurt parfait in town!

Aldo's Coffee Company
103-105 Front St, GreenportThis is a place worth making the effort to visit in person, although online purchasing is fast and easy, as well. The location could not be better-a weathered wood building right next to a picturesque green by the docks with a patio to enjoy both people and boat watching. The large red roaster at the front of the store is its own attraction, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The coffee is truly amongst the best out there and the gelato is amazing!

Front Street Station
212 Front St, GreenportTwo of us popped in for a late lunch on a Wednesday in July. We were immediately greeted by Sharon, who made us feel welcome. I went with a traditional selection, choosing the “Build Your Own Burger” option. My friend tried the soft shell crab sandwich. It was his first time trying this delicacy and he loved it. I recommend Front Street Station for a relaxed, casual dining experience in the heart of downtown Greenport.
