Macari Vineyards
150 Bergen Ave, MattituckWent for a private tasting with our friends and it was great! It was indoors which was nice in the August heat. They were very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. Our person favorite were the white wines especially the Riesling. We had a huge cheeseboard that was delicious and definitely able to serve 6 people. The pizza was delicious, thin crust wood was oven. Overall, would highly recommend this vineyard to everyone!

240 Love Ln, MattituckMy wife and I came here to get some food to go on our way to the Cross Sound Ferry at Orient Point. When I found out the kitchen was being cleaned for the dinner shift and they would need 20 mins before they could make my food, I told them I didn't know what to do since I have my dogs in the car. They said we can have them with us on the patio (which is covered from the rain)! So we sat down and split the delicious burger and fries while the doggies laid at my feet. The staff even brought a pie plate with water for them.

Meat's Meat BBQ Shop
9095 Sound Ave, MattituckOk so the food was good. Probably the best BBQ on long Island so the food at least is worth it. Definitely give it a try if in the area. Be warned though it is pretty expensive. Spent a little over $100 for two people, no alcoholic drinks. Wife got a lemonade and it was the size of a kids cup elsewhere and cost $5! I know stuff is expensive but that is borderline price gauging for a non alcoholic drink. The best value it seems are the sandwiches, which are loaded. However, as is unfortunately common nowadays, the food comes with no sides. No bread, no nothing. Sides are also very pricey, with a large going for $12. So $12 of Cole slaw was maybe enough for 1.5 people. Also, service wise they were nice but the food took a long time. They were not that busy comparatively but wait was long. The atmosphere there is cool with live country music when we went.

2255 Wickham Ave, MattituckAnother recommendation. Saturday we decided to go to the Windermere at Strong’s Marina. My band performs there a few times during the summer. Last year I saw that they had a lobster roll special for $19.99. Add a soda for $1.
The Windermere odd a beautiful place to go and enjoy lunch or dinner and some live music on the weekend. They have outdoor dining with plenty of umbrellas if you choose, or go out onto the sprawling lawn and relax in a Adirondack chair by a fire pit and enjoy the surroundings, and the waterfront.
We had a lovely table and a great waiter with personality. Michael H was a lot of fun to chat with during our lunch. He insisted on me mentioning his awesome hair 😂! He took great care of our table and provided great conversation.
We were a part of 5 and we each ordered the lobster roll warm. You could get cold too.
The lobster rolls were really delicious and generous and a great deal for $19.99!!!! It came with no sides so we ordered the onion rings which were perfectly crisp and stacked on a tall skewer. We also ordered fries as well and most importantly, a round of there very delicious martinis and a gin/tonic.
Our day at the infante was perfect, michael the waiter was great (shout out again) and the lobster rolls are the best deal around!
I highly recommend going there and seeing for yourself!
