“In December we bought two couches couple in tables and recliner and a loveseat our salesperson was Marie we felt she went out of our way to find us a matching couch and end tables we got it the week before Christmas moved into our new home it was perfect and then we had a little problem with the couch squeaking and the recliner making a kind of an odd noise I called the store it was quickly taken care of they ordered us a new couch and another recliner no questions asked I thought they would just repair it you can't get any better service than that.I own the business for 35 years customer service was always the name of the game I would recommend these folks to anybody”

“Michelle was great to work with! We rented for a little over 2 years while building our new house. We had 2 units, 1 indoor and 1 outdoor. Both stayed dry, without pests or any other issues. We had a billing issue that Michelle was able to solve quickly and her auto payment system was great. When we were able to consolidate down to 1 unit that wasn't an issue either; can't say enough good things about our experience. Although we are leaving the state, if we ever needed a unit in the future we would certainly use her again and will certainly recommend to anyone!”
“I had seen a sofa online that I was considering for a home in Florida. I went to Smith to see the sofa since they were the only retailer in upstate New York that sold the line of furniture I was interested in. I thought I would buy the sofa in Florida if I liked it. Instead I bought the sofa, a loveseat, a dining table and chairs all from Smith in Syracuse and had them ship everything to Florida. Kathy was so wonderful to work with, helping us choose fabric, arranging the shipping and keeping us in the loop through the months-long process. The shipping cost was very reasonable and the delivery company was great to work with. The furniture was delivered last week and we could not be happier with it.I highly recommend Smith Contemporary Furniture. The customer service is unbeatable and the shopping experience was wonderful - no pressure, great selection, etc. It was a much better experience than we had in the numerous stores we had been in before in search of a perfect sofa.”

“I have had bad luck with two other pool companies whether it be opening or closing. I know one of the Assistant Managers named Justin at Tarson on Taft, he always showed he cared about my pool like it was his own. When I requested a closing everyone was so thorough. Every question was answered and believe me I asked a lot of them! When they came to close it everything was disconnected and waiting for me to put it away for the winter. Really impressed with the professionalism and the care. I will be calling them to open it too that’s for sure!”
“I had foot stool reupholstered by Toni. this foot stool had belonged to my parents and has been redone twice over the years. I wanted someone local near Syracuse to redo it. I found Wicker World ion Factiry Road in Cicero, NY. They replaced the old batting rebuilt the sides and put a new pad on it, they even touched up the legs. it's beautiful and has many more years to it now. Thank you Toni for the restore.”

“You can always depend on the local company!! We have an office in TX that does most of our graphic work and ordering. We recently needed some print materials for a presentation here in Syracuse, when the "national" company couldn't get us the work on time and it was stuck in transit, Just the Right Stuff came in just in time!! They were able to turn our order around in no time. I called, immediately got a receptionist, not a recording, explained our situation and that we were desperate and they said no problem!! “If you like Arts and Crafts and Mission furniture, you are fortunate to live in Syracuse where one of the most famous producers of this style has its production plant (in Manlius), sales room (in Fayetteville), and warehouse (in North Syracuse) at convenient locations. Each of these sites has yearly sales were items are discounted by 30 to 45% and hand-knotted rugs by up to 75%. So, if you're not in a particular hurry to redo your bedroom, dining room, or living room, you should wait for one of these sales. To be notified in advance, call the Stickley showroom in Fayetteville and ask to be put on their mailing list.”

“Target carries the best recycled paper towels and toilet paper by the ever spring brand. It even cost less than most other toilet papers. The paper towels are so strong. You can rinse them out and use like a disposable wash cloth. I usually even rip them in half too. You are helping save the trees while having a high quality product at a fair price. Everyone wins here.”
