900 Burnet Ave, Syracuse“Hardcore, old school vibe gym; may be a little intimidating to those who have never been, but it's really a gym for any and everyone (those serious enough to take their training to the next level at least). May have a smaller footprint than some gyms, but more than makes up for it with the talent and high caliber lifters, who often are more than willing to offer advice or help. No commercial gym bulls***. More than enough equipment to accomodate any lifting style. 24/7 access 365 days a year, never closed on holidays. Do yourself a favor and become a member, the only thing you'll regret is not becoming one sooner.”
“This place is awesome. I travel a lot for work, and it's hard to find gyms that have lots of squat racks and barbells. Clean place, friendly people, and easy to buy a day pass. I will definitely come back.”
6AM - 12PM 3:30 - 7PM
408 Oswego St, Liverpool“9Round offers a fun and functionally effective way to be healthier. I HATE cardio, with the exception of 9Round classes! Boxing makes me feel strong, assists with the management of my emotions, and is good for the heart. Let's not forget it's only 30 minutes of my time. The instructors are always respectful and motivating. They watch your form and offer assistance to ensure you won't hurt yourself. I would recommend this to anyone.”
“First class was great - our kiddo had lots of fun, got a great work out and burned tons of energy + they included really nice lessons on discipline and responsibility - signed up on the spot”
“Over the past several months I have had the best experience at Trillium. The Personal Trainers are very enthusiastic, friendly and willing to help you reach your own physical goals. As a member, I truly enjoy sharing my journey with other members knowing we are part of the Trillium family. Thank you, Trillium”

“It’s amazing! I love everyone here and Coach Ryan and others are the nicest! They have the best obstacles, and everything else is awesome. I love the barracks.”
“I’ve been part of this gym for nearly 10 years and I can say that there is no place like it. Every single person looking to better their fitness journey needs to check it out.”
4:30AM - 8PM
3150 Erie Blvd E, Syracuse“Orange Theory Syracuse is the most accommodating gym for people with physical restrictions who need modifications, but still want a great workout. The coaches are great, the atmosphere is motivating and the workouts check all the boxes. I actually look forward going to the gym because of the coaches at OTF Syracuse.”
“In Syracuse for training and needed a good Zumba class to attend and this is the place!! Owner was super nice and helpful over the phone and in person and the class participants were friendly and welcoming along with the energetic instructor! Place was very clean as well ? Ty ladies!”
“I love the vibe of the gym very welcoming and clean. Downfall I would say is paying extra to have access to the new sauna, reserving a spot just to have the sauna at full capacity. Why am I paying extra?”
5:30AM - 8PM
3401 Erie Blvd E, Syracuse“I have only been to a couple free classes that they offer when an instructor is in training. I LOVE it. The staff is amazing. The workout is tough, but modifiable. I love that it’s high intensity but low impact at the same time. I appreciate that there is no pressure to get a full time membership.”
“My name is Gabe Rivera, been a member since the gym opened and since I was in 10th grade held the highest bench press in Henninger High School And also in Jacksonville High School in Jacksonville, NC 1997 and couldn't of done it without Flex House of Fitness and without Frank the owner”
“I have been going to champions for about 5 months now, I absolutely love it! Great space, good equipment and friendly welcoming people, my only issue is that for the 5 months I have been there I only got to use the sauna once or twice, it's always out of order :C”
“Been going to this gym since 2020 and I love going here. The coaches are great and the people there are great too. Very good place to start if you want to get into CrossFit. Even if you're not into CrossFit it's a great place to meet new people and get a good workout in!”
“My son has been going to Baseball Warehouse for 5 years! I wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff is very knowledgeable and has the players best interest in mind. Bryan, Ben and Dan thanks for teaching my kid the game of baseball! Keep up the good work and dedication to the the kids and the game of baseball. Joe Ligoci”
“One of the better Anytimes I’ve visited. Good equipment and spacious, plenty of room for functional training and multiple squat racks. Showers were nice, and clean as well.”
5 - 8:30PM
196 Hiawatha Pl, Syracuse“My Daughter has done competitive cheerleading with CNY Storm for about 3 years. Their program is excellent, the kids are treated with respect & positive reinforcement regardless of each child's skill level. These kids work very hard, yet they also have fun & form friendships. I would highly recommend CNY Storm to any family interested in competitive cheerleading.”
“This was my 1st gym wayy way back in the early 2000's when it was Onondaga Hill Fitness. Stopped in to give it another try and I was pleasently suprized it is still in tremendous condition. As a bodybuilder, I have an eye for good equipment. This gym has classic Cybex and very hard to find Nautilus Nitro machines that hit your muscles in a very specific way (photo is of the nautilus back pull, which i cant find anywhere). They also have York dumbells (which are actually made of metal unlike most gyms) and a great selection of benches including a rare hip and leg sled from cybex. They have a great selection of cardio equipment upstairs and the locker rooms are well appointed. If your looking for a great gym this is definitely worth being on your list.”
5:30AM - 9PM
140 W Seneca St, Manlius“The Manlius YMCA offers so much to members for all age levels. The facility has Pickle Ball, Tennis. a beautiful Yoga studio and more. I have enjoyed taking Zumba classes both inside the gym and outside on the lawn. I am always greeted with a welcoming smile and treated with kindness. They have a very large , clean workout area with the latest equipment. During the summer we enjoy Book club outdoors in a shaded patio area, it’s so nice to be outside in the fresh air and beautiful surroundings. I definitely recommend the Manlius YMCA to meet your recreational and community needs.”
11AM - 6:30PM
601 S Main St, North Syracuse“As of 9/13/21 they no longer have a pool to offer aqua therapy. Receptionist was helpful over the phone by discussing other Aqua therapy places in region. Sad cause I heard it was a huge well kept pool.”
Open 24 hours
301 Pulaski St, Syracuse“Love this place! It’s conveniently located, 24-hours with locked door/tag access (it makes me feel safe), nobody with tripods taking up space for hours, and everyone is so welcoming- powerlifters and beginners alike. I have to attribute my ability to stay consistent and comfortable with my fitness journey to this place. I’ve brought friends here to try it out and their first day is free! The owner has always been really accommodating and the staff are really friendly ☺️ if you want to go to a gym that has nice equipment, isn’t overly crowded, and has a lot of personality- check it out!”
“The manager Tony set me and my girlfriend up with a membership after a great tour. Buddy should get a promotion. He’s great and was the seconding factor in my membership”

“Great gym. Been coming here at least a couple of years now. The staff is always excellent. Especially Steve and Mick. Good environment. Clean and maintained equipment”
“Very nice gym and staff, the only problem with this gym is the manager. She can be very rude and seems to not like some guests for no reason at all. Other than that the rest of the staff are great and friendly.”
