“This place is awesome. I travel a lot for work, and it's hard to find gyms that have lots of squat racks and barbells. Clean place, friendly people, and easy to buy a day pass. I will definitely come back.”

“I have only been to a couple free classes that they offer when an instructor is in training. I LOVE it. The staff is amazing. The workout is tough, but modifiable. I love that it’s high intensity but low impact at the same time. I appreciate that there is no pressure to get a full time membership.”

“Been going to this gym since 2020 and I love going here. The coaches are great and the people there are great too. Very good place to start if you want to get into CrossFit. Even if you're not into CrossFit it's a great place to meet new people and get a good workout in!”

“Gyms usually fill me with anxiety, so I have largely avoided them for most of my life. This space is different, however.I feel safe and welcomed, I am able to ask questions and receive answers without judgement or ridicule.I am able to now work out with the strongman group there, and through them I am learning about gym equipment, technique, and building self confidence.I highly recommend this place.Very trans and women friendly.”

“My Daughter has done competitive cheerleading with CNY Storm for about 3 years. Their program is excellent, the kids are treated with respect & positive reinforcement regardless of each child's skill level. These kids work very hard, yet they also have fun & form friendships. I would highly recommend CNY Storm to any family interested in competitive cheerleading.”

“This was my 1st gym wayy way back in the early 2000's when it was Onondaga Hill Fitness. Stopped in to give it another try and I was pleasently suprized it is still in tremendous condition. As a bodybuilder, I have an eye for good equipment. This gym has classic Cybex and very hard to find Nautilus Nitro machines that hit your muscles in a very specific way (photo is of the nautilus back pull, which i cant find anywhere). They also have York dumbells (which are actually made of metal unlike most gyms) and a great selection of benches including a rare hip and leg sled from cybex. They have a great selection of cardio equipment upstairs and the locker rooms are well appointed. If your looking for a great gym this is definitely worth being on your list.”

“Love this place! It’s conveniently located, 24-hours with locked door/tag access (it makes me feel safe), nobody with tripods taking up space for hours, and everyone is so welcoming- powerlifters and beginners alike. I have to attribute my ability to stay consistent and comfortable with my fitness journey to this place. I’ve brought friends here to try it out and their first day is free! The owner has always been really accommodating and the staff are really friendly ☺️ if you want to go to a gym that has nice equipment, isn’t overly crowded, and has a lot of personality- check it out!”

“After a very positive physical therapy experience at SUNY Upstate Medical University/ Institute for Human Performance, tried Vitality Fitness Program. There is a land program & an aquatic program. Instructors are excellent & very helpful. Highly recommend this program / gym.”

“Being a frequent traveler, I’ve become accustomed to paying a lot of drop in rates only to find gyms weren’t open when I needed them, or didn’t have the right equipment. I began training at Blood Iron Barbell due to their unique selection of strongman equipment and quickly found it to be one of the most supportive lifting environments in Syracuse. The flexibility in hours and value that I get from the equipment and environment quickly made me realize I should sign up as a member. I highly recommend this gym, if it’s for an occasional drop in or something more, you won’t regret it.”

“I was looking for alternative locations regarding Pickleball. Although I have been to the Downtown YMCA a few times I did not know it very well. Following one visit I noticed the Y had set up times, court space and equipment for Pickleball but few people were utilizing the opportunity. With some encouragement from Staff and Max, the Director, I helped get the word out and now am making new friends playing hours of Pickleball that I could not do anywhere else with excellent mostly unknown facilities and equipment.”

I've seen lots people with personal trainers who always seem like they ate having a good time and engaging well no matter what part of their fitness journey they are in. They jusy opened a bar for food and health drinks that always seems full of people also having a good time, overall a great gym!”

“Thank you very much for your prompt response. It's clear that the reputation of a brand extends far beyond surface-level considerations, encompassing aspects that influence perceptions, including stock performance. I appreciate the GM's effectiveness in achieving a favorable outcome, and I'm genuinely thankful for your handling of the situation.Roberta Vigilance‘Mental health is as important as physical health.’Update:The GM called me via phone. He listened, and his gesture reminded me of his generosity in my time of need. I also noticed the demeanor in those staff members drastically changed to professionalism. Having a bad day is not a valid reason to mistreat anyone because the other person might be having a bad year. I appreciate the change. Greatly improved service. There is a group of employees who make it stressful as soon as you walk in the gym's door. The general manager endores the negativity which is a challenge for positive change to occur. You literally need to work out your mind to get pass the unpleasant, unprofessional, and disrespectful (not all, but most) staff. Other than those riffraffs working there, it's a pretty good gym.”
