The essential oils smell heavenly and my plant now has some humidity for the winter. “Liana and Bill are so nice and do a great job too - Liana will spend time to look at your mood board/finish samples/room photos and listen to your inspiration ideas to curate and show samples to help you narrow down what you want. They’ve also allowed me to borrow samples to view in the space itself which really helps. They educate me on the cost of various materials and give estimates. I’ve been very happy with the end results too.”

“If I could list more stars, I would. This little museum was such a delight on a cold winter day. Aileen at the front desk greeted us warmly and made the experience priceless with stories of the history of the museum and area. We left with a much greater understanding of Hopper and how his home life influenced his work. If you’ve appreciated “Woman in the Sun”, you should pop by Nyack to read about Hopper’s muse & wife Jo. Read one of her loopy handwritten letters upstairs describing “Nighthawks” publications if you want to smile. The selections of the museum, while lacking the famous paintings, showcase the personality of Hopper and those around him. Each time I see a Hopper painting, I’ll be thinking fondly of his childhood home and doodles we saw here. There’s a lovely creative room on the second floor where anyone can draw and spend some time after looking at the museum and some local art. Thank you so much for having this place where art is not just preserved, but encouraged to grow.”

“My daughter recently started attending this school, and this place has been nothing short of life‑changing for her. She originally joined using a gift card, and I wasn’t sure how she would adjust. She is very shy, quiet, and reserved. She also has her own unique sense of style, so I didn’t know how comfortable she would feel walking into a new environment.
At first, she was scared — I stayed in the lobby her entire first class. But by her third class, she was walking in on her own. The teachers and staff have been so warm, patient, and welcoming that she told me one day, “I think I found my people.” Hearing that brought tears to my eyes.
She still has her quiet nature, but she is slowly coming out of her shell because she feels safe and accepted here. She calls her classes her “therapy time.” She loves the teachers, the atmosphere, and even attended teen night — something she never would have done before.
This is a little girl who used to ask me to speak for her. Now she walks in confidently and comes out smiling. And as a parent, I appreciate how seriously they take safety — they don’t let any child leave the building until they see the parent. They truly protect the kids and make them feel at home.
I am so grateful for this school. They didn’t just teach her art — they gave her a community, confidence, and a place where she feels she belongs.”
