“What a breath of fresh air this place is. I have been looking for a go-to mechanic since moving to the area about 10 years ago. It should not take that long to find a capable, trustworthy mechanic, it really shouldn’t. But it’s been a combination of shady garages and more establishment chains that *always* find “emergency” needs for the vehicles that must be addressed immediately (to the tune of thousands of dollars, even with haggling).
I needed an oil change and state inspection, and that’s exactly what I got. No hassle, professional and personable, it’s a hidden gem as far as I’m concerned. I look forward to continue doing business with them.”

The service is outstanding, the staff are friendly and attentive, the gas prices are reasonable, and the location is convenient. They also have an impeccable selection of snacks, which is always appreciated on a long drive.

“Brought my car in for my bi yearly inspection. I dropped it off around 10:30 in the morning on a Friday. The technician called me within an hour. And told me, I needed a new tires as well. And gavevme three different options for tires with different price points .He took the time to explain the difference between each type of tire. I chose what I wanted and then about an hour and a half i was called to come pick up my car. Excellence service. The survicee technician was nothing but polite and helpful. “This shop was recently sold to a new group of excellent mechanics. Our Volkswagen bug was making strange sounds and not able to hold its battery charge. Jay called with an estimate, which was fair. Once I approved it he quickly got to work and called me as soon as the car was ready. The bill ended up being less than the estimate. He was straightforward, explained the problem with the car and how he fixed. He was a great communicator, fair and lovely to interact with. We're so delighted to have a trustworthy mechanic locall.”

As a woman, going to car shops can sometimes feel intimidating, you worry about being taken advantage of but I have never felt that way here. I’ve come to this shop for several different services, including fixing my door handle and lock, oil changes, and other repairs, and every experience has been positive. “Ossining on the Briarcliff side have minimal store/gas stations and this place is home raised and you can tell by how they take care of there clients. i thought i left something and they went out their way to review the camera. later on i found out that it fell out in my trunk, which was a relief but just to know that they're willing to go through video to help me is so sincere and kind. Great local shop for your home needs and great price on gas. Thank you JFL”
