“I CANNOT express how amazing and personal the experiences we've had at Albergo are! From the gorgeous huge cottage rooms, to accommodating our 165lb dog, and not to mention the amazing breakfast/brunch they have on site. Marianna and Leslie are the ultimate hosts and definately are always available to accommodate in every way. I wanted some coffee after hours and she brought me out a full fresh carafe! There is NO BETTER place to stay in Windham. I will never try to stay anyplace else.”

“The Gertsberger, Weingard family and their awesome team bring the best each and every year. Their work ethic and caring is OUTSTANDING! Your home a way from home place. Been going up for decades! The best way to describe Glenbrook Farms for me “is a piece of heaven cut out” and placed in Upstate NY for families to enjoy for generations. If you expect and demand a franchise hotel room, with WiFi, ton of cable channels and a mint on pillow than this place is not for you. However if you are looking for a great time for your kids and family, three meals a day, the ability to visit with some farm animals, play basketball, softball, swim, take in the sun, handball, bonfire, hangout with friends and family at night, enjoy a firework night, relax all day, sit back and listen to music and play games in their family style lounge, than Glenbrook Farms will definitely provide awesome memories, enjoyment! It’s the real deal and you will see that when you walk across their stream, take in the view and walk around a Great Lake with fishing! Place is awesome. God Bless”

“I was in the area for a wedding and I attended a rehearsal dinner at Eastwind. I couldn’t have been more impressed. The BBQ dinner was outstanding—perfectly cooked steak, chicken, salmon, cornbread, fresh salads, and a great dessert of vanilla ice cream with strawberries. There was plenty of food, and everything was delicious. The firepits were a cozy touch as the evening cooled down, adding to the relaxed atmosphere. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure guests were comfortable. While I didn’t stay overnight, I heard only great things about the accommodations. Beautiful setting and top-notch service—highly recommend!”

“Magical family feel but some outdoor activities would be great, and upgrades to indoor bowling alley and basement feels neglected in terms of fun and cleaning. Almost like guest don’t actually go down there to play. Missed space for opportunity and guest interaction/fun.”

“My family and I recently returned from Baumanns Brookside Resort following an extended weekend getaway. We found Baumanns three years ago and have been returning every summer since. Baumanns has been a family run resort for more than 100 years! It is a quaint resort tucked away in the Catskill Mountains. This resort offers an abundance of food at every meal, served family style, three times daily. I especially enjoy their outdoor BBQ's which offer a variety of food choices such as hot dogs, burgers, pulled pork, chicken and even steak, along with a variety of homemade salads, vegetables and desserts. Throughout the day and night there are a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities for people of all ages. There is also an outdoor pool, and fire pit, and the resort is just minutes away from a large water-park. The entire resort staff are friendly, engaged and obliging. Patrons are free to roam the premises and even fish in the lake. The atmosphere at the resort is layed back and highly relaxing. There is no pressure to do anything but what you desire. My family, friends and I leave happy and feeling recharged. Baumanns is also reasonably priced. It's a great country place for family and friends to make lasting, happy memories. We have already made our reservations and will definitely return again next summer!”

Not only was the venue coordinator (shout out Mallory!!) an absolute dream to work with, they helped to ensure that the day was truly perfect from start to end. Our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful and incredibly special the venue was. Could not recommend WHL highly enough for a weekend getaway, a relaxing retreat, or as a wedding venue. 20/10 experience- thank you WHL!!”

“Our wedding weekend at Wylder Windham was the best weekend of our lives thanks in major part to the wonderful team and gorgeous venue!!

Venue: There are SO. MANY. options sweet spaces on the property for each wedding weekend event... from rehearsal dinner, to welcome party, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception and after party .. no 2 events shared a space! It was so special to enjoy every corner of the property, and it made each moment/event feel new and exciting (without the hassle of travel) for us and our guests.

Food: O M G - our guests are still raving about the food. We selected family style and the portions were plentiful and the quality of the food was some of the best I've ever had at a wedding. To be honest, the food at the tasting was just OK but the food at our wedding was excellent. Truly, we were blown away.

Guest rooms/layout: Gorgeous, stunning. I knew the hotel layout going into it, but I was not prepared for how FUN it was that almost all of our guests had a balcony. At any point in time we could pop out on our balcony and see someone we knew and loved. Friends hanging out having drinks on the balcony, waving to each other, inviting people up to hang. It felt like elevated camp in the best way. Honestly, maybe my favorite aspect of the weekend. Also the baller suite is the ultimate space for getting ready!!

Staff: SO beyond accommodating. From start to finish the team at Wylder was a pleasure to work with. Olivia was so professional and level headed throughout the planning process, and made all of our wants and needs happen effortlessly.
