“The Eastwind hotel exceeded expectations in every aspect, offering a cozy retreat in the middle of the Catskills. From the moment we arrived, Jamie, epitomized hospitality and brought a super personable feel to our stay. He truly took time to get to know us and make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved him! Candice was also incredible - and we loved spending time at the bar with her. “What a special, memorable, unique place! We booked on New Year’s Eve and it was such fun! The property is clean and well kept. There is plenty of family friendly activities such as bowling, dj dance party late night, hiking, and rooms to explore. We had delicious home cooked meals. It was safe, casual, and the perfect family outing. We highly recommend the resort.”

“Stayed from 1/13/24 to 1/15/24.Don't judge the book by it's cover. At first look, the inn is just your typical budget friendly motel/pub. However, it exceeded our expectation at every level. We stayed in Room 6 (double bed with an additional cot), and for the three of us, it was plenty of room. The official website's photos are accurate. Mostly importantly, if you are traveling with family with multiple devices, they have enough plugs to help charging everything. The room has a good-sized flatscreen tv, small fridge (or you can just leave your cans in the car lol), and a microwave. We ended up using them to make instant cup-noodles and other snacks. Hot water comes out fast so we didn't wait long at all. Oh, the only item that was missing (or we didn't see it) in our room was a blowdryer. But then again, we didn't bother asking management about it. Plently of pillows and blankets so in case you are the type who needs extra. The only thing is when you first check in, you need to turn up the thermostat so the room heats up. That initially took about 10 mintues. The Wifi works great and we had fast internet for all 6 of our devices. Oh, they also do room service while we were out skiing.What really won us over, however, is the staff at this place. From checking in to dining, they were super friendly and welcoming. The place got crowded fast on early Saturday evening (standing seat only by the time we walked over from our room). It was a friendly crowd, and we had no trouble getting our orders in and later getting seats. We absolutely loved the steak and burger. It is as good as other reviews have stated. We ended up eating dinner there both nights (first night we brought food back to our room). Overall the experience was great, and I definitely see us going back again later this season now that we've discover this cozy establishment!”

“Our new favorite place to stay in the Catskills! As soon as we arrived we felt so welcomed and relaxed…Check-in was smooth and the lobby’s a cozy space for cocktails or a card game. The rooms (we had a king room) are a perfectly styled mix of vintage and modern, they’re clean, comfy and equipped with everything we needed for a long weekend away! Our friends booked “the suite” so we got to enjoy that space too. We loved it so much we had Woodhouse Pizza deliver our dinner to the suite one night and had our own private dinner party (def staying in the suite next visit-it’s gorgeous!)We ate almost the entire menu and plenty of Italian margaritas…Everything was house-made, sooo good and fresh! They also offer a simple breakfast menu (the BEST french press coffee and scone ever!) delivered to your room or anywhere on the property if you prefer to eat outside.This place has it all for a wonderful upstate getaway…great location close enough to shopping, arts, stunning drives/views but also a very peaceful and quiet property. The staff was friendly and attentive, the indoor and outdoor spaces are beautiful, the food is delicious and the vibes are chill! We will def be back soon!”

“The hospitality at this place is over the top! I am used to great service but here they go beyond to ensure that you are happy. Michaela and Hayley at the reception were warm ,welcoming and ready to please. The entire staff really make you feel like you belong. Very friendly. Anything you need just ask. I've never been to a place where everybody, I mean everybody, would go out of there way to ensure you are having a great stay. Great location with fun activities like electric bikes and private saunas. Wonderful selection of food and drinks. I can't wait to return with my family. Highly recommend staying here.”

“Keep your eye on this gem. Under new management with a vision and a deep respect for the past.Upon arrival, I felt welcomed. Rebecca and Jen truly shine in this establishment. The food was phenomenal; delicious, generous, with an appealing menu.I spent the day in nearby Kaaterskill Falls followed by relaxing on this beautiful porch.My evening encompassed excellent live music, dancing, and laughs.Personally, I am looking for a venue for a family reunion . I will be bringing The Bavarian Manor Hotel back for strong consideration by my family.”
