“With all the competition I will always return to this hotel, Owners go way above expectations. This is a gem in the beautiful mountains, rooms are spotless as well is the hotel, and the owners are a cut above, should be a model for every B&B.”

“This place is fantastic. I’ve been going every year of my life and this place has been in my family ever since my great grandma. I’ve been able to enjoy every second of it. Very private and a connection-only type of resort. Place has been around forever so don’t expect very fancy rooms with modern-technology. You’re supposed to be away from modern electronics.

Dining room and platters are absolutely fantastic. Everything from Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and dessert. Waiters are absolutely amazing and always check on you. If you don’t like their traditional German food, you can always go to some restaurant around the resort. There are plenty. Everything from the activities to eating, to drinking, to dancing, there is everything you can possibly think of. The snack bar and the Kuhstall are my personal favorite. They’re always opened very late and they have plenty of drinks and food to choose from. Not to mention the views that are there. I could not think of a better place to stay at on earth. The place always makes me feel safe.”

“I love the atmosphere of this place. The long front porch with rocking chairs is a perfect place to relax after a busy day. They provide you three meals with your stay. The food is delicious and they make their own maple syrup from trees on the property. It has been extremely hot so the pools were wonderful to have. Did some hiking on the trails provided on the property. They have enough to do here that you don’t need to go anywhere else.”

“My girlfriend and I had a really nice stay surrounded by the forest and with a great view. The new building and its rooms were excellent. Staff were welcoming and pleasant. I'm not much of an upstate person but I will recommend to friends.”

“Great Family vacation and staff was wonderful. Daily activities were. Some things could use some TLC. Played basketball but the balls were old and could be replaced. Borrowed some tennis rackets as well that need to be replaced.”

“Had the wedding of our absolute DREAMS here. Guests from all over couldn't stop commenting on how much they loved the venue and how special it all felt and that is all due to the amazing team. Mallory the Director of Venue Operations is the definition of DO-er energy. She was so supportive and excited by all the things we were doing to make the wedding ours. She made us feel genuinely so taken care of and the whole weekend (my heart melted when she brought me non-alcoholic champagne so I could do a toast with my husband after our first look—I don't drink and I get so overlooked especially in a wedding environment lol). It was also incredibly special staying at the venue with friends and family. The Bridal Loft is to die for, I really miss it!

“We had the pleasure of getting married at the Wylder Windham this past May. It is a beautiful location and it was exactly what we envisioned for our day -- everyone at the wedding being able to stay at one location, all events within walking distance, beautiful scenery, and an environment that allowed us to be all together as a group for the entire time. Since we were hosting the wedding, it was such a gift to be able to bump into some of your guests and really feel like we were able to see everyone who joined us.

We would love to give a special shout out to our front desk crew (both day & night shifts) -- Mack, Caitlin, Alyssa, Sobia, Sam, Ronan, and Kat. They were INCREDIBLE. Truly took such good care of us and our guests. They were always so kind (even when stress might have been getting to us) and really helped our wedding weekend run smoothly!!

Also a truly special, special thanks to Olivia, Jenna, and Mia -- they are part of the sales team at the Wylder and were always so lovely throughout our time with them! We really owe them so much.

Moments of the planning process were the only things we found slightly frustrating. While the team individually were so kind and most of the planning process went relatively smoothly, we did feel like there were multiple moments of miscommunications on larger financial items which we think came down to the venue maybe being young in hosting weddings which resulted in changing policies throughout the year which caused some stress and confusion.

Overall, though, I would definitely recommend this venue for all things big or small. Our wedding itself was a true success - the food was AMAZING (Wylder does catering & drinks in-house and it was spectacular), all our vendors were great (many recommended by Wylder), and we were really happy with our experience during the weekend itself. So excited to have this as a spot we can visit fondly :)”
