“My family and I recently returned from Baumanns Brookside Resort following an extended weekend getaway. We found Baumanns three years ago and have been returning every summer since. Baumanns has been a family run resort for more than 100 years! It is a quaint resort tucked away in the Catskill Mountains. This resort offers an abundance of food at every meal, served family style, three times daily. I especially enjoy their outdoor BBQ's which offer a variety of food choices such as hot dogs, burgers, pulled pork, chicken and even steak, along with a variety of homemade salads, vegetables and desserts. Throughout the day and night there are a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities for people of all ages. There is also an outdoor pool, and fire pit, and the resort is just minutes away from a large water-park. The entire resort staff are friendly, engaged and obliging. Patrons are free to roam the premises and even fish in the lake. The atmosphere at the resort is layed back and highly relaxing. There is no pressure to do anything but what you desire. My family, friends and I leave happy and feeling recharged. Baumanns is also reasonably priced. It's a great country place for family and friends to make lasting, happy memories. We have already made our reservations and will definitely return again next summer!”

“Had the wedding of our absolute DREAMS here. Guests from all over couldn't stop commenting on how much they loved the venue and how special it all felt and that is all due to the amazing team. Mallory the Director of Venue Operations is the definition of DO-er energy. She was so supportive and excited by all the things we were doing to make the wedding ours. She made us feel genuinely so taken care of and the whole weekend (my heart melted when she brought me non-alcoholic champagne so I could do a toast with my husband after our first look—I don't drink and I get so overlooked especially in a wedding environment lol). It was also incredibly special staying at the venue with friends and family. The Bridal Loft is to die for, I really miss it!

“The Shamrock House is a true Catskills gem. It’s an Irish pub, restaurant, inn, and event venue all in one, and it captures that warm Irish hospitality the area is known for. The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly, and the food is delicious—classic “Pub Grub” mixed with comforting, home-style Irish meals.

It’s a cherished Greene County landmark, and always a great spot for good food, good company, and genuine Irish charm. Highly recommend!”
