“This E. Greenbush store is AMAZING, with the greatest Customer Service. I walked in, frazzled and desperate and needed help obtaining the correct connecting plug for my generator because of a recent wind storm and our power was out for three days. I showed the photo's of my generator and transfer switch to the gentleman who immediately greeted me at the door (I think your name is Todd) and he helped me obtain the correct 220 male/female plug along with the extension cord that goes with it. THEN, "Nick and Tony" (Owners) took the extra step and secured (attached) the male/female plug to each end of extension cord. They wouldn't accept payment and I'm eternally grateful for this. I know for a FACT that the local big box store nearby would NEVER, EVER provided this kindness and assistance. Thank you to Todd ( I think that is your name) who greeted me at the door and provided the BEST Customer Service and of course thank you to Nick and Tony for helping as well. This is the place to go for all your needs....Nancy F.”

“I’ve had two different lawn mowers serviced and repaired here and the service every time has been outstanding. One of my mowers had several other mechanics take a look at it and try to fix, all unsuccessfully. Weisheit repaired it for less than $200 and it’s been running ever since. Chris is kind and honest and has even done work free of charge because he was up front and told me that the mower was leaking oil because of a mistake made on their end. They even picked it up and dropped it back off to me all within a week at the start of summer! It’s hard to find people and businesses to trust, and Weisheit is definitely one of the good ones and their prices are reasonable.”

“I had placed an online order, my order never delivered I called corporate they called the store that my order was being filled by. I received a call the same day from Joe Krawiec he explained that it was a computer glitch he tried to fix it Joe called me back to keep me updated on what was happening but we had to reorder it, Joe guided me through the process of reordering it and made sure it was correct. The next morning he checked on it called me immediately and said that my order had been shipped and I should receive it on Tuesday, which I did!. Joe made me feel as though I was the only customer he had to deal with for 2 days! He took time to listen to me complain! I felt he understood my frustration. And he followed up with me!!! “Lowe's review? Sure.As far as a comparison goes with other Lowe's stores that I have been to in New York and other states, this one is operated at a very high standard. It is sure to have most anything that your home, lawn, property could need and then some. High-price items are locked up, as I was made aware there was some thefts happening during the floyd riots and post-pandemic. All the isles are spic'n'span and lunch hour is the time when some materials are rolled out on carts and restocked on shelves.On a few occasions I have needed some input with the lumber and garden departments and all the staff (old and new) were very helpful and kind - one woman even walked half the store to make sure I got my item!The one sticky point, is the return desk (3 stations) where, without any fail, late in the morning or late in PM; there's always a backed up line. Please get 1 extra person to assist at this crucial desk.Above average Lowe's.5”

“Home Depot on Route 4 is a great first stop to gather everything you need for those projects around the house. We have been going here for years and usually walk out quite pleased. Prices and inventory are always stellar. In terms of project support, some of the staff really know their stuff, others don't, so do your own homework before you go shopping. I believe one of Home Depot's strongest legs is their website, it crushes the other big box stores, so take advantage of it for product details, prices, and availability. If you have a small order, just find out where it is in the store from the website and go grab it. This store also has excellent customer service as well, which is far, far above their competition. It's great to see management really doing their job and keeping this place pleasant to shop in, year after year.”

Hello, everyone.
I am writing to revise the negative review of the Ace Hatchet Hardware Store that I posted.
At the time when I attempted to place my order with Ace, and after weeks of contacting my financial institution, and encountering further declines against my account by other merchants, I recently have proof that my financial institution sent a debit card to me, that is defective, which causes some merchants to see an error message of decline, but, for security reasons, and due to problems with the card, the bank doesn't see it on their records, causing the conflict.
Last week, I contacted Ace, and they agreed to accept another form of payment, and delivered my order, and were accommodating by phone, which I sincerely appreciate, and am completely satisfied with the purchase, and their willingness to provide assistance, despite the misunderstanding, that was not their fault.

Currently, I am working with my financial institution, and requesting that they investigate their error, and replace the defective card to prevent further conflict.

I want to retract my prior negative posting, and thank Ace and their manager. I appologize for my misjudgment, and regret my error. I rate Ace with five stars.
I have recently received a message from Ace that their Tech Support department is currently working to resolve the accessibility issues with their mobile app, and website, which I also appreciate.

“I am not a frequent customer of Lowes and have not been to Lowes in a while now. I was up in Albany and looking for a very specific item. I will definitely change that habit. As infrequently as I visit Lowes, they always have exactly what I am looking for, in this case, gutter guards. The all have a huge parking lot with centrally located handicapped parking. Very short walk to the store which was definitely very well stocked. Took a walk through the store afterwards to get an idea of what is now available. I was really impressed to that they now carry a full line of Craftman tools. I really never saw a spread of them like this, they had items that I had never seen before. They also had quite the collection of power tools. Many different manufacturers covering all price points. The team member I spoke with was extremely helpful and guided us perfectly to the area I needed to find the item(s) I was looking for. The store is clean and organized, easy to navigate. KUDOs to the team here at Lowes.”

“I needed some plywood for a project I was working on for a friend. However, I own a small Toyota and it wouldn't fit. So, I either had to have it delivered or else rent a truck to transport it. Delivery charges are $80 and several weeks out, so that left option #2. Thankfully, they had a pick-up truck in stock. They won't, however, hold it for you so it is first-come-first-served. Thankfully, I called ahead and the truck was on their lot so I was able to drive over and rent it. The process went quick though I needed to show them my driver's license, insurance paperwork, and have a deposit put on my credit card. All standard stuff.I only needed the truck to drive 7 miles each way, and I had it back within the first 75 minutes so my total cost was about $20. That wasn't bad at all! Their employee, Hans, was super friendly throughout the process.I will point out that HD's selection of plywood here was horrible. Nice hardwoods like birch were non-existent, as were smaller thicknesses like 1/4". That being said, their 1-by lumber was very good compared to several Lowes I had been in. This is all likely due to Covid, so I won't penalize them for that. It is something to keep in mind though.”

“I called Marcone for an over door glass pack on a Friday afternoon around 4:00 p.m. I spoke to an extremely helpful and friendly person who took my order and said the part would probably ship on Monday since it was so late in the day, arriving on Tuesday (which was fine with me). Imagine my delight when I received email notification that the part shipped that same Friday afternoon after all and then the part was delivered on Saturday! Really nice to be "surprised" in such a positive manner. My thanks to Marcone for their fast, friendly support (and it was the right part, too! We just finished fixing the oven door).”
