“I too am a customer of this gun shop/hardware store, and have been for about a decade, or as soon as I realized that there was a gun shop so close to my home. So far you can call me a happy customer, and I hope that doesn't change, but I just finished reading a comment here by by Ravi K dated February 2024. And now I'm in a conundrum (or however you spell that stupid word!). I found a really good deal on-line for ammo in many of the calibers that I shoot frequently. I would be expecting to pay about the usual and customary transfer fee of about $25. But that isn't the issue. Like Ravi K, I have a major problem with giving up all my data in the 1st place, but especially as he described; on a sheet of paper that I'm supposed to trust them to safeguard after they log my data into their computer. Problem is that when it comes to such an important thing like MY DATA, I for the most part, just don't trust anybody! So before I pull the trigger on this on-line ammo deal I'm going to give the gun guys at Karp a day to read and respond to my comment. Afterwards I'll be happy to write a real review for them. Until there is resolution, I have to watch my 6. It seems that every month that goes by, there are less and less people I can trust and/or count on to watch mine for me. And if I don't hear back from them ASAP, I'm going to have to drive a little longer, either to Huntington or Coram, to take care of my business.”
“This store had almost everything I need to maintain my Long Island home. As far as some comments about "lack of women": years ago, one of the owners, a female, passed away. She was always there, and helped me out numerous times, as did the two brothers, and another woman, possibly a sister.”
