βNeeded a part ASAP for the furnace at my personal residence. Called to see if they had the valve power head that I needed, which they did. Drove over, and it was there waiting for me. The gentleman who assisted me at the counter was very helpful and friendly as well.β

βI am truly grateful for the help Nick gave me. I called in at 4:55 closing time is 5 oβclock. Nick was empathetic towards my situation, I had no heat.
He gathered the parts that I needed to correct my problem . He left them outside the store so I could pick them up and not go through the night without any heat. He also offered me his personal cell phone and encouraged me to call him , and he would walk me through the repair.
This was truly a unique experience that will stay with me for a long time. Nobody does business like these people , I will never go to another plumbing supply. I highly recommend Central Islip Plumbing Supply !!β
βFriendly neighborhood hardware store! I called ahead of time to verify store was open on New Yearβs Day and was helped by a very friendly knowledgeable employee. I asked about a salt to drive my walkway and they offered me information and pricing on multiple options! When I got to the store another very kind employee directed me to the product options and offered to bring my purchase out to my vehicle. Great customer service and great store.β
βWent in today to buy a wheelbarrow. They were in a weird spot outside of the store and required a key to get one. It was a whole process but the lady at the front of the store was so helpful and kind while we waited for assistance.β
βChris is great!!! Here is the story. I contacted him from one of his signs to do my driveway. He was responsive and we set up a time to do the job. Price was very reasonable. I had just returned from a 2 week vacation and forgot we had the job scheduled, Chris did not forget. He was prompt, friendly and did a great job. 10 minutes after he left the skies opened up and completely wiped away the sealcoat. It was on the Belgium block and parts of the house. He came right back, power washed and cleaned it and then came back 2 days later after the rain stopped and did the job, again. It's not every day you find someone that is fair and honorable. I am recommending Chris to everyone if you want the job done professionally by a true gentleman. Thanks Chris.β

βThere is something to be said for local shops. I bought the wrong paint and James and Vicky were so accommodating and friendly and helped me out in the return of a custom paint. While we were doing the return and processing the new paint, we shot the breeze and got to know each other. Ill go here first for any home needs I have for the next 20 years. People make a company. And all customers want these days is a sense of community and nice people to talk to. A nice chat and friendly smiles reminded me of why I love living here. Give these two a nice Christmas bonus - they earned a customer for life for your business. Honestly.β

βI had a wonderful experience at Costello's Ace Hardware of Northport that I wanted to share.
I purchased an item for online pickup which unfortunately had to be cancelled because of a mistake on the Ace Hardware Corporate site mistakenly showing the item in stock. However, the Saturday night crew (I sadly didn't get their names) did everything they could to help me by checking local warehouses, and calling their manager to see if I could purchase the display model. Initially it was a no, but the gentleman willingly and eagerly called his manager AGAIN for me and to my surprise the manager agreed.
Only because they went above and beyond for me by calling again allowed me to purchase a Christmas decoration that is very sentimental to my childhood. I will truly have a special holiday season this year because of the wonderful employees at Costello's Ace Hardware of Northport.β
