“Halima made the experience of renting a unit super easy and efficient. I was in and out before I knew it. Excellent job she does and highly recommend anyone in need of a unit”
“I came here on a time crunch needing rent a truck and trailer. The facility did not have the truck but the employee working there, Andrew was able to help me source a truck at another Uhaul facility and rent everything I needed within a 15 minute drive. He then helped get everything hooked up and prepared for the drive.
I sincerely appreciate the extra effort and willingness to help. Thank you.”
“I’m not sure why there’s a negative review, but I have worked with Joe for three fleet trucks, and my experience has been fantastic. They are very easy to collaborate with, offer great pricing, and maintain good communication. It's a pleasure to work with this team, and I intend to continue our partnership. If you're managing trucks for a company, this is definitely the right choice, and they are incredibly helpful. Even though they are extremely busy and backed up, they always make the effort to assist you.”
“Rented a 6x12 trailer in Huntington Station, NY. Before I left I made note about the fender damage in the photos. What I didn't know before I left on my 400 mile trip to Virginia was how bad it was (held together with bungie cord) and had 2 balding tires. I wanted to return it to a local dealer but Uhaul insisted I call roadside service after numerous long wait times with CS and hang ups with regional pricing offices. Although I didn't like the arrangement Jeffrey Williams the roadside assistance fella was great and the tire bill came to $257. But nothing was offered as an alternative or compensation for my troubles. I reached out to the President, Ed Shoen, no response. Public relations was no better. I have rented many a time a trailer from them. I was going to rent another next month. This may be my last.
Update 7/20: Umika Austin the GM called me and apologized. Almost gave me a full refund for my troubles. I did put in another reservation for a 5x8 trailer for August. She did the right thing. Thank you!”
“The Team at Ryder Farmingdale is Fantastic to deal with. We wouldn’t go anywhere else to rent the trucks we need and use on a regular basis. Thanks Ryder for your great customer service !!!”
“The gentleman who was behind the desk was knowledgeable and extremely helpful. He was also very professional and took care of us immediately. Had a great experience from beginning to end. Highly recommend!!!”
“As a returning customer it was as easy and pleasant as always. Everyone is friendly and helpful and make it as simple as possible to be in and out and on your way.”
“Excellent attention and service, very easy to rent, the only bad thing was that I was not aware that these vehicles cannot be driven on the parkway and the sheriff stopped me and sent me to court for driving there.”
“Had a great experience at this Penske location. The truck ran well, shop was well organized, and has good operating hours. The desk attendant Alex took our experience from great to exceptional. He was very accommodative, answered all our questions, and got us on our way in a timely manner. Will definitely be back and recommend visiting this location.”
“This is a great place to rent a Uhaul, and the storage rates are reasonable. The units are clean. Lorraine and Lisa were extremely helpful and walked me through the online process of renting a Uhaul. I messed up my reservation, and they were able to straighten it out. I left stuff in the van and Lorraine called me right away and I was able to retrieve the stuff the same day. I felt like they went above and beyond for me.”

“I rent a lot. Best place to get a rental truck. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and professional. Trucks are clean and safety measures are practiced. I've used serval size trucks and never had an issue. Strong recommend!”
“When I got there in the morning the windshield was full of ice and snow I didn't have anything to clean it off with the guy did offer me a little broom but also told me I'm responsible if anything happens had to spend a half hour of my time and the gas that I had to pay for to wait for it to warm up and clear off otherwise truck was clean people were nice”
