“Check Point Automotive, located in Farmingdale, NY, was recommended to me by friends & family, as well as by my superintendent, who notoriously demands 100%. They don't advertise; they don't need to as their excellent workmanship, honest pricing, and client dedication results in a natural word-of-mouth marketing.Nick, the owner & operator, is personable and easy to talk to. If you are concerned or upset about something, let him know. There's an obvious pride in his company, and he wants the customers to know they are important. Whatever the issue, no matter who is wrong or right, he will do everything he can to have you leave with a smile and the knowledge that you'll be back there for your NYS car or motorcycle inspection.Check Point also does complete car repairs for both foreign and domestic makes/models. Bring your car in for brake & tire replacements, 4-wheel alignments, and all the other "keep it in prime and safe running condition" items.The waiting room is clean and cozy, with a large coffee making area and a water bottle machine. It's decorated with wall art, a tv, books, magazines, motorcycle models, and other little things to spend your time on while waiting. Even the bathroom is unexpectedly large, pretty, and spotless with thought put into decoration!This is one of my longest reviews because they deserve it. Give it a chance--go there, and experience it yourself! ?”

The waiting area is clean and well lit, and there's coffee while you wait. The owner even made me a fresh pot!there's a driveway in front but it's not for parking, only if they're taking your car in right away. the parking lot is around back.”

“OMG These guys are great!?? I am not from this area at all and just on a whim, I googled muffler repair in desperation to get my car fixed while waiting for a medical exam!I Basically noticed that they were nearly 5 stars on every review and I said “heck what if I got to lose, it’s 5 miles from here” ! So I rolled up and he pulled me right in. Lifted my car - showed me the damage. Yes- showed me the damage -you heard me, right!! Quoted me a price beyond belief reasonable and asked me to have a seat in his waiting room and wait one hour, it was like a dream come true! I was able to ride my vehicle home 40 miles away with no anxiety, with no screaming noise in my ears -for dollars! Thank you again?? working six days a week does not give me a lot of time to worry about a car repairs, and I would drive 40 miles without hesitation again to have them fix anything else that goes wrong with my muffler!! “Needed to get some cosmetic work done on my car. There was nothing mechanically wrong with it, but there was a big dent on the front that was just a huge eyesore. I walked in, was greeted by a man name, Richi. He was more than willing to take me out to look at what my car needed. Then came the manager/I believe he might be the owner Billy. They both seem like standup, regular guys, and I did not feel that they were trying to scam me in anyway. The price that they quoted I felt was fair and even then I was able to negotiate with them because they genuinely wanted to help.They Fixed the damage, replaced my tires and painted my wheel. Everything came out better than expected.When I went to pick up the car after they called me, there was a small area that I felt like could be cleaned a little bit better. Richi went out of his way said that he will take care of it and within 24 hours the car was ready and perfect. They did not try to charge me for anything extra. He even dropped me home. Very easy and simple process. Would highly recommend these guys.They seem like genuine, family, friendly guys who are good at what they do, and take pride at what they do. Would definitely use them again. This is obviously not a paid review and I was not asked to write a review. But I like supporting local when I feel like the businesses go out of their way to do a good job.Services: Painting”
