“CONTI AUTO BODY THANK YOU NOTE
It’s 4:30 Friday of Labor Day weekend.
Only 12 hours earlier I had shown up at Conti’s Auto Body’s doorstep with my right rearview mirror ripped off and hanging by the wire.
They ordered parts that arrived the next day.
My crazy schedule allowed me to get to them by 420 but it ran late. As soon as I pulled in though, someone met me at my car and whisked her away.
Here’s the thing… While I was in the waiting room for all of maybe 15 minutes, I saw to my left a refrigerator for customers to help themselves to water; dishes of Tootsie Roll lollipops (the red ones are still amazing); cool keychains with their CONTI logo, and then this…
At least two dozen handwritten thank you cards from customers.
I asked one of the guys there, how many auto shops in America do you think get thank you cards like those from their customers?
The only problem is now I have to write one because they did a solid for me too. That mirror was fixed in 15 minutes. This was the Friday eve before Labor Day weekend.

“Long story short I had called a mavis tire shop nearby the area around 5:27 they said they couldn’t help me even though I said I had a flat tire and the dude on the phone stated it was almost 6 and the technician was busy and basically they were not able to help.
